I've been on
Ibrutinib
for about 1 year, diagnosed in 2009, first round of chemo in 2012 at Duke Med on a clinical trial stopped because of extreme hemolytic reaction. Chemo infusions again in 2015, worked for a couple of years. Started

Moving to Calquence from Ibrutinib
I’ve been on Imbruvica for about 15 months and while it’s driven my numbers down in am ideal fashion, I approached my ONC because the fatigue due to the meds has sucked a lot of my day to day energy away . Don’t get me wrong, exercise helps and I’m in good enough shape where I ran a marathon just 2

Venetoclax and rituxinib
I know unlike
Ibrutinib
this is a ramp up drug, so I guess I won’t have chemo for ~5 weeks AFTER I start taking it? Then it’s 1x a week for 4-5 weeks? Anyone been on it and know what side effects are?

Given recent news from the US, obvs would prefer an
ibrutinib
arm but it’s a throw of the dice. Thanks!

ibrutinib, opposite effect.
I am writing this post because my dad just started
ibrutinib
on December 19 2018 and has went for two weekly blood tests, and each time his white blood count levels have gone down ( we were told it would skyrocket.) His WBC was at 406 in mid October when we first found out it was CLL.

NCBI Journal - Cannabis Extract Treatment for Terminal Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia with a Philadelphia Chromosome Mutation
I found this paper a while back whilst researching information about Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia (WM), I am currently taking
Ibrutinib
(Ibruvica) for this condition, which is a similar disease to leukaemia.

splenic marginal zone lymphoma treatments
Does anyone know of the next line of treatment if rituximab and
ibrutinib
has not worked? Is there something that can be taken for an elderly person? And I have seen some posts about tongue ulcers and
ibrutinib
; is this a common problem and what is best to treat?

The danger of grapefruit?
I have been on
Ibrutinib
for over three years now. It has with God’s help been a wonder drug for me. I was given a month to live three years ago and here I am today quite well. Tonight I ate a small grapefruit, then remembered that it does not go well with
Ibrutinib
.

CLL, Medicare & support meds
I've been on the Medicare website and have an idea what
Ibrutinib
will cost on Medicare. I'm especially concerned about the "extra's" for CLL: neutrophil meds, IVIG meds, and hemoglobin meds. If I need all this stuff, I'm really in trouble.

I have developed mouth sores and neuropathy. I tried many lip creams, finally went to a dermatologist and got a steroid cream. Still having problems. Has anyone else had these problems?

Cll, venclexta, and anemia
My husband was diagnosed in 2017 with cll, he began treatment with
Ibrutinib
but taken off with anemia, possible pneumonia, and hospitalized. Next treatment after having chromosomal markers checked, was Venclexta.

Mine involves first-line treatment in a clinical trial, spectacular failure on idelalisib, relapse, spread of CLL to the central nervous system (complete with seizures and permanent partial blindness), good response to brain chemo for the CLL, and subsequent intolerance of

NICE approves venetoclax (VENCLYXTO) with rituximab for previously treated chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) patients
Alternative options for treating second line CLL patients today typically involve continuous treatment with the targeted non-chemotherapy drug
ibrutinib
. For patients seeking a treatment free period, retreatment with a chemo-immunotherapy is the only option, which is often unsuitable.

It turns out it matters not only what meds you get but the also the order you get them in
This week we posted an interview on the CLL Society website (CLLSociety.org) with Professor Hillmen of Leeds concerning the timing of
ibrutinib
and obinutuzumab.
