Does Ibrutinib protect against severe reactions to amoxicillin/penicillin?
This is a long way of asking the question: Does
Ibrutinib
protect against a severe reaction to amoxicillin/penicillin?

Immunoglobulin levels improved at last (after 19 months on Ibrutinib)
After 19 months on
Ibrutinib
, I was delighted to hear that my immunoglobuins have improved. IgG and IgM are now within normal ranges, and IgA isn’t far off. They were all much lower in the past, so I am very pleased, and thought it worthy of sharing. Makes a change to have some good news.

No. 4 years ago, I developed a bleeding problem while in
ibrutinib
and they were going to give me a different medicine. When they screened me for the new meducine, they discovered my cancer was gone, so, I didn’t need to continue with any cancer medicine.

New here. After 10 years of CLL, Ibrutinib treatment needed for decreasing hemoglobin and platelets.
I wish I could say, if I start but with decreasing hemoglobin and platelets, it's
Ibrutinib
or eventual blood transfusions. I am grateful for this forum.

Skin problems at the end of a clinical trial
My husband has three more days to go in a clinical trial with venetoclax and
ibrutinib
. We are travelling in the US, returning to Australia today. The treatment has been successful - a complete response, with no sign of CLL anywhere at 15 months of treatment.

Ibrutinib-Venetoclax-Acalabrutinib
I think
ibrutinib
has lactose. How bout venetoclax and acalabrutinib? How do lactose intolerant patients manage the situation?

Treatment Decision
My doctor has mentioned Bendamistine/Rituxan IV for several treatments or possibly
Ibrutinib
orally. He has also mentioned a trial of the chemo followed by Ventalyx orally. I am not inclined to start treatment yet. I am starting iron supplements to try to help the HGB issue.

Ibrutinib and A-fib
I like the drug
ibrutinib
but I also have A-fib. Does anyone know of similar drugs that are well tolerated by patients with Afib?

CLL and Crohn's Disease
My Oncologist wants to start me on
Ibrutinib
fairly soon. I am very concerned that taking
Ibrutinib
is going to cause my Crohn's disease to flare up. However, if I don't take
Ibrutinib
my CLL is going to get worse. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place.

CLL and worsening allergy but poor immunity
The paper does review evidence for the efficacy of a range of anti-inflammatory drugs including the ultimate anti-inflammatory steroids, non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs including aspirin, statins, and even points out that
Ibrutinib
is actually working by counteracting certain inflammatory pathways

Cramps with Ibrutinib
I have just finished my third month on
Ibrutinib
and have started suffering cramps in hands, arms and legs. Is this now to be a regular side effect.? Also I get intermittent itchy spots on my upper body which are controlled by Fucibet ointment.

OK, anyone have any experience with Cellcept or Ibrutinib?
Saw my hematologist this morning. We discussed my rheumatologist's suggestions as to medication to suppress my APS. He added two to consider to the mix.
