Huge polyp found - any success stories after polypectomy?
As NHS wait time for
hysteroscopy
is currently 9 months in my area, I opted to go private with local anaesthetic and had this done yesterday.

hysteroscopy and bleeding with pain
I then saw my specialist who did a
hysteroscopy
on Friday just gone and my pain has gotten worse. I’ve taken pain meds and nothing is touching it. I’m so tired of the pain. Is it normal for it to hurt and the bleeding to get heavier and more painful after a
hysteroscopy
? Thanks in advance x

If it’s not one thing, it's another! Update
Also had a copy letter from Gynaecology unit following the
hysteroscopy
/biopsy appointment last week. It showed I have a thickening to the uterus wall in certain areas. Now have to wait for biopsy results. Oh well they do say “patience is a virtue “🤔

IVF success at fifth transfer - over 40
After my fourth transfer I was referred for a
hysteroscopy
(ladies - do ask for local anaesthetic if you are ever having one in an outpatient setting). Because I was already in an NHS setting, this happened very quickly. This was great as I didn’t want to lose any more valuable time.

Similar Journey
I had a laparoscopy and
Hysteroscopy
in May 2023. On Prostap for 4 months. Started Stimulation 24/08 with Meriofert for 10 days, with transvaginal scans every couple of days for close monitoring due to PCOS. Triggered with Gonasi 10,000 02/09. Egg Collection 04/09, 8 eggs retrieved.

Repeat Implantation Failure at St Barts - after how many do they do any more investigations? If at all
Any recommendations for serious private clinics in London where I can do further investigation (like a
hysteroscopy
)? Do you know if they will even consider it if I do it in private?

Adenomyosis, should I have hysterectomy?
I had a biopsy (clear), a transvaginal ultrasound which showed 23mm deep endometrium with striations even after progesterone treatment to reduce it and a 15mm polyp, then a
hysteroscopy
(confirmed polyp and adenomyosis) and polypectomy (successful).

Feeling so deflated
Sorry to complain but am just feeling so lost with all this TTC stuff. Been trying now for 5 years and just recovering from my 2nd missed miscarriage (just a sac, no yolk sac or embryo seen). My previous missed miscarriage was the same, didn't get past 5/6 weeks with nothing in the sac. I've also had

Waiting for a Hysterectomy
I had a
hysteroscopy
under anaesthetic Jan 2022 because they thought I might have a polyp in my womb, but nothing there. In the past 18mths, I have been prescribed various tablets to try and manage the bleeding - tranexamic acid, Norethisterone, Provera.

How did you stay positive and connected? Awaiting transfer of last embryo from this round.
I had a
hysteroscopy
and the gynae found what he thought was a giant polyp/something more sinister. After two weeks of sheer anxiety, it turns out there was no malignancy or polyp, just normal endometrial tissue and the advice is 'keep going".

implantation failure
Before the transfer I had a
hysteroscopy
which showed a polyp which was removed. They then transferred the 3BB which also ended with a BFN. I’ve since done some blood tests to test for clotting and autoimmune conditions and all have come back normal. All of my transfers have been controlled.

hysteroscopy experiences?
I have been booked a
hysteroscopy
. I have looked at nhs and found all the usual stuff, please could anyone share what is it actually like and could you go to work the next day? I have been experiencing heavy bleeding at periods and spotting. Constant lower back ache and stabbing pains in pelvis.

Small uterine polyp 6.5mm and continuing with FET? Any success stories
Went to a new clinic for IVF, explained about the scarring, no concerns until a few days before my egg collection was due, they thought it could be a polyp around 5.5mm and said as it's smaller than the 1cm that NICE recommend is removed I could go ahead with a transfer or do a freeze all and have a

Laparoscopy - is it needed? Experiences?
At the appoitnment, the Dr suggested a
hysteroscopy
to shave down the fibroid, which I totally agreed to.

Happening all over again
I’ve had ERA tests etc,
hysteroscopy
, blood test for miscarriage. I am on steroids, aspirin, clexane, Prolutex and utrogestan. What is wrong with me and where on earth do I go from here? Pretty much losing my mind at this point. Should say also it’s double donor embryo due to issues on both sides.

Prostap help!
I’ve had normal ultrasound scans, laparoscopy,
hysteroscopy
. My gynaecologist cannot find what’s going on. The only thing they could see was adenomyosis on my MRI but he said my symptoms are not typical of adenomyosis. So my gynae advised prostap every 3 months to see if it makes a difference.

1st laparoscopy - what to expect?
We've come to the laparoscopy in a roundabout way really as we've experienced fertility issues and after two failed rounds of IVF this year and a
hysteroscopy
to remove a giant polyp in February - I've been recommended a laparoscopy as I had a lot of adhesions and scarring in my uterus in February and

Update
After a laparoscopy &
hysteroscopy
a week ago today he has found that I actually have a rare condition of a double uterus, one side connected the other not, many other issues too, too many to write here, so I know I am not a straight forward case.
