Hysteroscopy - what to expect? Worried!!!
When I got the appointment letter it said that I would be having a
hysteroscopy
at the appointment. When I went to A&E last year because of awful pain and was referred to gynae, they mentioned
hysteroscopy
and said I could request a general anaesthetic if i needed it.

hysteroscopy for endo diagnosis?
He has decided the initial consultation will involve a
hysteroscopy
. My question is - really? Seeing as that one looks up your hoo-ha into your womb, is that a diagnosis tool for endo? Isn’t the womb the one place it isn’t, or am I being dumb? Still learning here. thanks gals x

anyone done a biopsy on their endometrium ?
Along with
hysteroscopy
which I have already done a few times - they will do a biopsy on the lining to test for infection. Has anyone ever done? What was outcome and if did find infection what happened after that? many advice would greatly appreciated

Has anyone here discovered they have endometriosis/and or adenomyosis at a later stage in life? Just found out at 50!
I have had endless US scans, recurring polyps removed via
hysteroscopy
(4 times) and also polyp removal also via day surgery. I have struggled with anaemia for years due to the heavy bleeding and last year my ferritin levels plummeted to just 3 and I had to beg for an infusion.

Gynecology appointment update
I have to go for a
hysteroscopy
the doctor thinks the thickening in my womb is lack of hormone or was due to the HRT I was taking previously, she also may do a biopsy to make sure all is fine. She has prescribed me vagifem 10mg to be inserted into my vagina.

Recurrent implantation failure
I’ve had a
hysteroscopy
but that was before all my miscarriages. My results from the Coventry implantation clinic all came back normal. I’m on heparin and extra progesterone. I’ve tried EmbryoGlue each time and 2 endo scratches.

Hysteroscopy with local anaesthetic
Hi I need a
Hysteroscopy
to remove a polyp before I can start my IVF treatment. I’m having it done privately, but even then the wait for it to be done under a general anaesthetic was about 10 weeks.

Laparoscopy/hysteroscopy before FET
I am in another dilemma - whether or not to have a laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
between egg collection and FET. Background - I have had horrendous, painful and heavy periods my whole adult life and then struggled with TTC. We had one pregnancy that ended in MC at 7 weeks.

5 x Recurrent implantation
I have high NK cells so I’ve been on steroids the last two rounds clexane on the last round and a
hysteroscopy
that was normal. I’m currently starting my ivf vitamins for the next 3 months and have another round of ivf in the new year. I am awaiting Dr.

second opinion?
I also had a
hysteroscopy
(more than one eventually) where they had problems with my cervix. I have a massive chocolate cyst in my ovaries and endometriosis.

Where to next..?
Have had immunology testing,
hysteroscopy
, left tube removal due to hydrosalpinx, ERA/EMMA/ALICE.. no red flags. No gynea history. Our clinic doesn't know where to go with us next, they don't seem to know why it isn't working. Any suggestions as to what direction to go to next? New clinic? TIA x

looking for immune testing clinic recommendations
Hi my fellow IVF warriors, After 4 failed transfers and all the tests that possibly could be done ,including
hysteroscopy
and diagnostic laparoscopic - diagnosis is still unexplained I feel reproductive immune panel testing with DNA fragments and KIR are the only bunch left.

If its not one thing, it's another!
I'm now in for an appointment tomorrow for a
hysteroscopy
and biopsy! Depending on the results I may have to make a decision as to which is more important - eye or the nether regions. How come everything is hitting me now 😟
