? Cover required for endometrial biopsy
I have a
hysteroscopy
and endometrial biopsy planned tomorrow and although this is only a minor procedure with no general anaesthetic or sedation, I’m just wondering whether I will need any extra steroid cover? Does anyone have any knowledge of these sort of procedures?

Mirena coil fitted
I've just had my
hysteroscopy
with mirena coil fitted too now. I am hoping the size of my uterus starts to go down with time now it's been a rollercoaster of getting here a nightmare really.

Advice please
I have had countless transvaginals, an MRI a week before my op and a
hysteroscopy
6 months ago where nothing was said about endometriosis.

Disappointing response to stims 🙁
My consultant asked me if I’ve put on weight which I have a bit after a stressful couple of months and being unable to exercise after a
hysteroscopy
. And he said that could be the reason.

Experience and honest opinions of EMMA, ERA and ALICE tests and karyotype please
Hi, after multiple IVF failures the latest two with PGTA tested euploid embryos, I had another
hysteroscopy
, curettage and culture and sensitivity procedure yesterday. The consultant said everything looked healthy and normal but I have to wait a week or two for the biopsy report.

Sorry :( me again (post surgery question)
I had a miscellany of things done last Wednesday… copied and pasted exactly from my follow-up letter so I get nothing wrong:
hysteroscopy
, endometrial biopsy, Novasure endometrial ablation and laparoscopic Helica removal and Helica ablation of endometriosis.

Told by gynae MRI could not be done to check for endo/adeno, confused!
I asked if I could have a laparoscopy to check for both conditions whilst I was having the
hysteroscopy
& mirena under G.A. and he agreed.

After Hysteroscopy Update
Hi all, had a
hysteroscopy
Friday for mirena coil instertion as my uterus is tilted. Was a pretty brutal experience, managed to grin and bare it though and mirena was fitted. Appointment was roughly only 30 mins long, gyne could see I was in a lot of pain so worked quickly thankfully.

Has anyone had hysteroscopy without GA?
Since I’ve had a D&C and then no successes on my transfers my consultant has suggested we could do the
hysteroscopy
again. He thinks it’s unlikely that there would be any scar tissue as my last lining was the best it’s ever been, but best to check it out.

I'm having a
hysteroscopy
under anesthesia for the mirena coil in hospital on weds as I have endometrium hyperplasia. My hormones have been all over the place this year and I've waited nearly a year to see a gynecologist because of the waiting lists.

Is anyone else really bad at making treatment decisions? 😫
So I was really pushing to get the
hysteroscopy
done so it wasn’t a ‘wasted’ month. After my consultation today my doctor has said that I don’t need to go on the pill and he will find a way to make it work for the FET in January.

laparoscopy
The Dr is willing to perform a
hysteroscopy
in the next few weeks to see if it has affected my endometrium. This is my next step…. Then hopefully another round of ICSI. Anyone else with adhesions? Care to share? I wish you all luck, wherever you are on your journey xx

Transfer no. 5 for sibling
Just wondering if anyone has had success with the same batch of embryos ( I had 8 and I’m down to 2, 1 from this batch resulted in my daughter) and haven’t done any of the tests like Emma, ERA,
hysteroscopy
etc. we have been offered the tests but to be honest the extra cost was a lot and we have now

Waiting for laparascopic Hysterectomy but struggling with womb and bowel symptoms
I had a
Hysteroscopy
2 years ago because they thought I might have a polyp inside my womb. Nothing found and no answers. Since then I have tried various hormones (Norethisterone and Provera) but I had to stop taking these due to weight gain and side effects, hot flushes, etc.

I don't know whether to try again quickly (42 and running out of time) or if I should get myself in a better headspace first?
Since then I have had 3 failed cycles as well as a
hysteroscopy
. I have just about enough money for one more try, but I am worried if I try again straight away I will have the same result, and then no more tries.

You Are All Amazing
Cytology results to be ready in about a week, but it was recommended to do
hysteroscopy
and mass/ovary removal asap. I am a foreigner in the country where I work and right now I am trying to figure out how the system works here, fortunately, my colleague is helping me out.

Drained and need a break
I was sent for a
hysteroscopy
to investigate, which also was abandoned as they also had the same problem, I then had a second
hysteroscopy
which also failed, followed by a mock transfer that failed. They then said I would need a transmyometrial transfer.

Need help, reassurance, explanation anything!
I'm still awaiting a
hysteroscopy
for the other findings and treatment. I am to have my bloods taken again in 2 months and to check for TPO antibodies. I just wanted to see if anyone else had had a similar experience?
