Endometriosis, ovarian cyst or something more life -threatening?
It had been working, I think, and though an ultrasound scan in February showed that the cyst was still there, and had grown a little, the diagnostic laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
from a general gynecologist I had at the end of February 2017 picked up NOTHING! Needless to say, I was devastated.

Nurse consultation booked at last!
Finally had a
hysteroscopy
done a while ago for an endometrial polyp. It took sooo long for the appointment to come through that the polyp seemed to have shed by itself and there was nothing to remove after all. All that pain for nothing! Argh!

I'm booked in on Tuesday morning for a laparoscopy, with ablation of any endo they find, followed by a

, Ultrasound scan - polyp found and possible fibroid tissue and that led to last week when I went for

What should I make of this? Has anyone got pregnant with similar issues? Worried/anxious/ will I ever have my own baby.letter from Doc.
underwent a
hysteroscopy
and a laparoscopy. The
hysteroscopy
showed multiple polyps and irregular endometrial cavity with adhesions. The polyps were curetted and sent to histology. To prevent future adhesions, I left a mirena coil insitu. This will be removed in the future.

A whole host of 'issues'...
We had two rounds of IVF (including ICSI, endometrial scratch,
hysteroscopy
and intralipids) all of which failed. We were about to launch ourselves in to our third IVF when we fell pregnant, miraculously naturally. The pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 13 and a half weeks.

Hysteroscopy
I was obviously bleeding after the
hysteroscopy
but I didn't ask how long I would bleed for. I thought it had stopped yesterday but has started again today and now I don't know whether I should be calling him again or if the bleed is related to the
hysteroscopy
.

My 1st post & my story (you'll need a cuppa and a comfy seat for this one)!
, plus many other tests and have recently undergone surgery (laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
) to find out what's been stopping me from conceiving. About 7 or 8 years ago I had to have some abnormal cells removed via a cone biopsy, 2 weeks after this I had an infection and a massive haemorrhage.

Three procedures at once, first time GA, scared!!!
It was so sudden that when I was agreeing I was in such shock (and pain) that I said yes to every procedure my OBGYN said it should be done.So overall they are going to do
Hysteroscopy
+Mirena+Laparoscopy+Treatment to Endometriosis all in one.I see most of the people here have only Laparoscopy.

Hysteroscopy under GA
I have eventually got my appointment for my
hysteroscopy
and biospy. I have never had a GA and I am more worried about waking up during the procedure than not waking up afterwards. I feel stupid asking this but will my bits be exposed before I am knocked out?

Scared about Laparoscopy on Friday 31st.
I am scared about having a laparoscopy,
hysteroscopy
as well as maybe putting a mirena coil in. Has anyone else had the same done? I am also petrified that i will wake up after the op to be told that they've found nothing.

Heavy Bleeding with Mirena Coil and Prostap Injection, what gives?
After meds to reduce bleeding didn't work, my GP suggested to have a Mirena coil fitted, it was too painful so the procedure was abandoned to I was booked in for a
hysteroscopy
. Three moths before I was given a Prostap Injection which worked a treat.

Hi I had a

biopsy & polyp removed last thursday . Im 57 have had breast cancer twice 2002 & 2011. Ive not had periods since aprox 2007 due to my meds zolodex and tamoxifen. The reason I had this procedure done is because I started bleeding a couple mths ago ?

BFN DE 2nd failed cycle.
Have spoken to the doctor and he has suggested a
hysteroscopy
before we try again? I have had a lap and dye in the past is this worth having? Could I blag it on the NHS or would I have to pay privately? Anyone know how much we are looking at if private?
