My Story
Hello all! I've never really shared my story.. If you can relate, have suggestions or anything feel free to comment or message me. Thanks in advance. My first panic attack and anxiety started when I was 10. I developed a fear of elevators. It made going to places, like doctors, hotels, ect. very difficult

Today is the first time I have posted since joining. I am so afraid of being judged that I have not had the courage to share, even here!
I think my depression and anxiety have heightened to a point where I can hardly focus on tasks. My brain spins through scenarios that just occurred like it is recapping the moment and it just gets stuck in a loop. Is this ADHD or something like that or is it depression? Does this happen to anyone else

Shocked but not suprised at Borderline Personality Disorder (EUPD) diagnosis
Morning I just found out I am diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder in an unsettling way. I know I’m not currently allowed to drive and I’m fine with that, but I just opened a letter from the DVA confirming I’m not to drive, and it says about how they’ve accessed my medical records etc and

withdrawing from abilify
I was on 2.5 mg of Abilify for about a month. I felt sick most of that time. Now I’m going off of it because I still have the side effects. I feel sick to my stomach, have headaches and my skin and muscles ache. Does anyone have any suggestions that might help me feel better until it gets out of my system

Weird Side Effect
Hello all, About a month ago, I started medication for anxiety and depression. I was also having trouble sleeping. I believe the medication for sleep is the one causing this weird effect. I am taking 1mg Risperidone. I been doing so good, and it helped me so much to sleep better, however yesterday I

Where do I go from here?
I've struggled with anxiety and panic attacks and depression since I was 4 years old. I thought I was doing better and then this week I started having unprovoked panic attacks again. I lost my ability to speak for 24 hours. It was terrifying. Should I look into IOP or PHP? Is outpatient just not enough

Hypochondria
Hypochondria, thy name is Kevin. My first bout with cancer was when I was 5 yrs old. I was just learning to read and was leafing through Life Magazine. I saw a poster-board titled, "The Seven Deadly Signs of Cancer." A few days prior I had noticed a lump near my nipple. When I read The Seven

Rytary update
I’m closer to finding a dose/schedule that works for me. Hopefully this will help others who are still trying to find their way, Rytary was allowing me to eat three meals, a big plus since I’m no longer losing weight, gained a few pounds. But I was having a horrible afternoon slump, and it was making

Why don’t Doctors know/Deal with this hypothyroid issue??
I found what I believe to be an informative and interesting article for people who suffer with Hypothyroidism and all it’s complications. Doctor's like to dismiss us when we complain of unusual pains this article proves what we already know that “we are not crazy”. https://www.rheumatologyadvisor.com

lithium and bipolar 2
I am bipolar 2 and have had 5 episodes of depression and some hypomania since age of 20, now over 70. Nevertheless, I was able to obtain a good honours degrees in Science and +2 post graduate management diplomas in Business/ HR. I have had a successful career. This may demonstrate that people can cope

olanzapine
My husband without my knowledge was skipping some days of taking his olanzapine. He had a psychotic episode. The PA filling in for a dr was taking him off some meds (depakote) and up with others. Nothing was working so I requested a dr. He was originally on 5 mgs. The dr. Put him back on depakote and

Aripiprazole and fibromyalgia
I have just been given a small dose of Aripiprazole for depression ( larger amounts would be for people suffering from bipolar or schizofrenia). And am amazed to say my fibro pains are better! My pains have gone to about half of normal. As I have just started taking these meds under 2 weeks ago, am

Back sliding and really scared
Since increasing my lithium dose before Christmas, my symptoms had been so much better, only having mild lows for a stretch of six weeks. I was still having the two to three week rapid cycling bipolar cycles, but my downs had been very mild. But this cycle it is back with a vengeance. Have felt horrible

Hello everyone 2
I finally quit taking Cymbalta. My vision was really starting to suffer. The uncontrollable muscle movements were keeping me up so many nights. For years I was taking it mainly due to the pain relief part. I talked to a Dr. I didn't taper off like planned. I feel so much better. I was on it for years
