Post Zoloft... day 13?
Hey folks, So today had ups and downs. I was pretty moody this AM about some personal insecurities and issues - it seems like Zoloft made my reactions react x10. I don’t randomly get mood swings now but I definitely get very short tempered when I am. I started freaking myself out the other day when

New
Hey! I'm new here. I've been struggling with anxiety and depression for a while now and I kinda have some stuff figured out but I can't seem to control my moods and random things affect me way too easily. But I have not had a panic attack in a while so I'm proud of that.

Chemical depression/dissociation/medication/pain
I'm on medication at the moment that makes everything very confusing and disorienting. My perception of the world literally changes and becomes quite dreamlike/dissociative. It's week four and I'm still aware it's the drugs but starting to wonder if it'll always be like this somewhere inside my head.

Day 10 after Zoloft
Hey folks, So, yesterday was mostly good but I had some weird brain feelings from like 4-6pm! It felt like my brain was in some weird foggy state; kinda dreamlike (like, quickly disappearing thoughts, like how you feel after waking up).. I felt forgetful.. damn. This triggered anxiety and after I ate

Numb
So, with each day that passes this week I've grown more and more numb. I feel that euphoric feeling you get when riding a roller coaster...although none of what I'm experiencing is remotely fun and exciting. My heart feels as though it's in my arm and I'm resting just perfectly on my elbow that it's

The difficulties of diagnosis
So I am 52 years old, and I have just last week been diagnosed with clytothemia, which was partially a relief as I had thought it might be bi polar disorder - but the diagnosis was tentative, the anxiety disorders weren't discussed as I only had an hour with an NHS doctor, and the hallucinations and

New on here.
Hi. I'm 46. I have had depression most of my adult life. It has always been controlled with meds, exercise and the odd therapy sessions. I've always managed to keep on a level and still enjoy doing things in life. Lately I've been swinging from manic highs to the lowest of lows. Its exhausting. And gets

Thin and depressed or extra weight and happy?
Hello everyone.... its been a while since I’ve checked in. Anywho, I’ve always been one to take care of myself and keep my body thin (not overly thin, buy just right for my build). Well, last August I was put on Zoloft which tremendously helps with managing my depression. Great results. On the flip

Newbie
Hi everyone, I’m new to the group. I was recently diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and it’s been a hard pill to swallow. I’m hoping to find support and resources from others on how they cope and live with this disorder. I still haven’t fully accepted it and I feel like I’m struggling alone at times.

Anxious about birth
I’m due to give birth to my third child in a few weeks. I have bipolar and have had PP with both my other children, plus lots of episodes of mania and depression in between. I’m just coming out of a six week manic episode. I’m scared of how birth is now going to affect me.

Dieting
Every time I am depressed I either eat excessively or don’t eat for a long period of time. I don’t do it on purpose it just happens. I recently tried to do diet shakes and different supplements to loose weight to see if maybe my weight was also a reason that I was becoming depressed. I never see any
