Getting help
After a few years of anxiety with panic attacks and a really really bad month, I have decided to give Zoloft a try. This last month I have experienced panic attacks nearly every day. I figured I needed to do something before it ruined my life.

A new diagnosis
I’ve known for a long time that I suffer from anxiety and depression. I was officially diagnosed a little over a year ago after I finally decided to seek help. Since then I’ve been on and off different medications, and majority of the time they never did what I would’ve liked them to do. After my doctors

Salpingectomy
Good morning, I had a salpingectomy to remove a hydrosalpinx on Tuesday. They also had to remove some adhesions in my uterus. We won’t be doing IVF as we already have one child. I just wondered if there were any success stories of natural conceptions after a salpingectomy? They say the other tube

Bad friends or am i oversharing?
So a few of my friends told me that they are not comfortable with me sharing my struggles of living with bipolar disorder and they would rather not talk about it. I said okay at first but then i am wondering why the hell are my friends so mean? Are they fake friends or am i oversharing? Just to be precise

Cysteamine as a novel disease-modifying compound for Parkinson's disease: Over a decade of research supporting a clinical trial.
The molecule cystamine, and its reduced form cysteamine, act via a number of pathways identified as being critical to the pathogenesis of PD. In particular, these agents are capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier, promoting the secretion of neurotrophic factors, the inhibition of oxidative stress

Best antidepressant for sleep? CBD oil?
Hi I’ve taken several SSRI and SNRIs for anxiety and depression and one of the main side effects I experience is reduced or fragmented REM sleep so that I always wake up tired, not feeling rested. It’s really starting to wear on me!!! I was thinking of adding CBD oil at night to maybe help with sleep

Progynova- am I taking the right thing?
Hello, looking for some advice if possible. I know no one should compare IVF cycles but I seem to be on a bit of a weird cycle from what I can tell. I'm doing IVF on the NHS and am on my first cycle. They told me to wait 21 days, then take progynova for ten days and then go for a scan. They haven't told

Aripiprazole- feedback pls
Hi, I had PP in 2010. Been relatively well since then, but had a lot of stress in the last year (a shock bereavement) and have been put on olanzapine 2.5mg as a mood stabilisor. I have been continually on the SSRI- sertraline for severe PMS, which helps a lot. The psychiatrist I recently saw, said I

PTSD
I have written to my psychiatrist for a second opinion today. I believe I am suffering from Complex PTSD, not Bipolar. I had the visit with the police and they have gone to see my mother to tell her not to come to my house anymore. She was very abusive towards me and said some very hurtful things. The

Looking for a friend
Hello, this is my first post on here. I’m not entirely sure what to say other than I came here looking for support and for people I can talk to and be real with. In my everyday life, I hide so many things and it has become a burden. I can’t talk about how my depression and anxiety have truly become debilitating

Depression or medicine
Had bad stomach pain, but only problem was gastritis. I worry about my health too much. But my problem now is that I sleep all day. Just don't want to get out of bed. I am pretty sure it is depression. I take klonopin, buspirone, effexor, seroquel and heart and cholesterol medicine. I have had these

Panic attack?
I have been diagnosed with anxiety and depression a few years ago. I tried fixing it by making myself more 'productive'. I got a job but it made me more depressed being around people I could not get along with so for my sanity I had to leave. I'm afriad of going back into the working world but I'm running

Daily Mail article on thyroid treatment being denied
Thought people are fighting for better and more accessible treatment not cutting it back... Hasn't there been enough patient outcry? Why isn't there one united body of specialists to give a real voice to this issue? Contrary to what this article is saying Levothyroxine has given me my sanity and life

**Sensitive post** first ever BFP ‘unexplained infertility’
After 3 years, 3 surgeries, OHSS, a cancelled cycle and an official diagnosis of ‘unexplained infertility’ today I have my first ever BFP!!! It’s the day before my official test day but the result was clear as day so 🤞🏻🤞🏻 it’ll stay like that. I’ve felt absolutely normal with no significant symptoms
