Getting to the root of my anxiety
I am 57 and I was considered in menopause at 52 years old, however I went through perimenopause for approximately 5-7 years prior. I am in therapy, but it does not seem to be helping. Unfortunately I cannot take any Hormone Replacement Therapy because I had one positive result for a gene that increases

getting to the root of anxiety
Can anyone help in trying to figure out the root cause of my anxiety. I did not have childhood trauma., but have dealt with anxiety/ health anxiety off and on for years. It has became really bad over the past year. Also, has anyone tried hypnosis?

Hello- I am a 10 year IBS-D sufferer. It worsened over the past two years as i went through the loss of my husband of 40 years to a rare cancer. The IBS gut-brain axis is real as my anxious mind can attest to. My IBS started after an 8 month round of chemotherapy for an early blood cancer. I've

Hi everyone, hope you all had a good Christmas. I have been a member of this group for a few years but don’t very often post. I feel I should apologise for being a “bad penny” only turning up when I need to. My anxiety is currently off the scale, I can usually put it all into perspective but the darn

hypnotherapy ?
Hello. I have struggled with being over weight for about 20 years. I have lost weight in the past but gain again after a while. I have had lots of support here before too. I have now gotten into a really bad mind set where I eat very little but very sugary food. I will start with porridge for breakfast

Upper gastric pain due to food feeling stuck..
Hello. May I ask if anyone has found anything that helps you cope with/address the pain of slow gut motility? My son is really struggling with upper gastric pain due to slow/no digestion. He has lost so much weight due to restricting his diet to try to keep the pain at bay. He often resorts to making

Clinical trial - Recorded hypnosis or relaxation reduced cancer pain and anxiety. Hypnosis also improved fatigue and sleep.

Visualisation- and getting a reality check
I developed T in April 2022. In December 2022 it had worsened, so In January 2023 I sought help from the GP and got a referral to NHS ENT- heard nothing until May 2023 When I contacted the hospital to find I had been deemed 'routine' and would be waiting months to be seen. However, by then I had decided

Hypnotherapy
Saw a neurologist yesterday and apart from paying €250 per month for CGRP, which is too expensive for me, the only other thing he suggested that I haven’t tried is hypnosis. Has anyone tried this? Any successes? Love to hear your experiences. TIA

I know
hydrotherapy
would really help me, it has done in the past. The hospital service could offer this but it seems that they are more determined to discharge patients.

The disease is in thought, environment, perception and inherited information. Then it goes into our body chemistry.
I had a fabulous summer. Living in a natural paradise, having a vegetable garden, bathing in the river, meditation, Chikung, electric bike rides in the mountains, fresh air and springs, redox molecule supplements, electro-stimulation with micro-currents, etc. have all made my Parkinson's "even better

Two pain clinics, but they aren’t the same.
At this clinic they used full resources - meds but also psychological treatment and things like
hydrotherapy
. It would be a long wait to see anyone but when you did you got really good treatment. Now, I’ve moved 20 miles down the main road, I’m under a different pain team.

Help please
I just posted, but I’m not sure that it went through. I’m really struggling. Been dealing with super severe anxiety for almost 2 years and I’m at the end of my rope. It feels like I have tried almost everything to get better—CBT therapy, hypnotherapy, medications, coping skills like exercise, meditation

Resting Tremor Stopped Briefly With Hypnosis
In 1995 I visited a GP. I forget the reason. She did something surprising that has persisted all these years. I think it may be important in understanding some cases of "Parkinson's Disease". Out of the blue this GP said she could give me something that would help me relax. This turned out
