Humira and injections
I have just started
Humira
and have now had 2 injections, and the result is fantastic. To be fair I have also had a steriod injection 4 weeks ago while I was waiting for the
Humira
paperwork as I was so bad at thins time, which did help to get things going in the right direction.

Inflammed sinuses any experience anyone?
I mentioned it to my rheumy, she says more likely caused by my meds (
humira
& mtx) than by the RA. Inflammed sounds lie part of disease doesn't it? Anyway, the awful symtoms is bad taste in mouth in morning, dryness in mouth, nasal passages.

in pain
The outcome is that because my bloods are ok they don't want me to restart
humira
. I wish I had never agreed to stop. Just because my bloods are ok doesn't mean I am. I am in more pain now and am getting agro because of time off sick.

Humira injections...I find that they are nasty little injections that sting quite a bit...
I always get a local reaction ( to a greater or lesser extent) that lasts for about a week...does anyone else feel the same...

So, I was diagnosed with RA around 2 years ago.
Started coughing up white frothy sputum so consultant stopped this also and I was then assessed for " wonder drug "
Humira
. Consultant said I will feel like new man. I have been injecting this since December 2011 and have steadily felt worse again.

Newly Clarified Lab Results
I have been off
Humira
for almost a year due to chronic infection. I have also developed Osteoporosis due to long-term steriods, meds. etc. I have 3 fractures in my back, but they aren't bothering me too bad. I don't want to start taking any of those meds again unless I have to.

Had to come of the injection
HUMIRA
. So Dr increased my dosage of mtx. When I got onto the top dose of 20mg I had to stop the injections as I got a really bad chest. Good old steroids again.
