Sick of Pain
I am now on
Humira
and I'm still in a great deal of pain, granted I've only been on it since March but I thought I would be feeling better. Sometimes I think maybe they have misdiagnosed me. I am hoping that I may get some ideas from all of you on what to do since I am probably a novice at this.

Humira pain
shocking night, no sleep and no relief from the incredible pain, can't move out of the chair. Rang NHS Direct and ambulance on it's way. Literally cannot move from waist down.

Humira pain
just had 1st injection of
Humira
today and cannot believe the pain I have had all day in the localised area where I did the jab at the top of my leg, it has been impossible to move at all without excruciating pain crippling me - surely this can't be normal or can it??

What does "follow up as planned" mean?
She has also sent off paperwork for
Humira
which means I should start it in 2 weeks πππ.

HOPE
I'm so grateful that I chose to trust my Rheumatologist and take Methotrexate and
Humira
along side trying a popular anti inflammatory diet. It took a very long time for the DMARDS plus a switch in Biologics to work and all the while the diet was doing nothing.

Treatment Options in the UK
I tried
Humira
injections for more than a year, but it seemed to make no difference at all. Now that I am here, I am wondering if anyone else is using this combination and how hard it is to get the medication here through the NHS? and if so how much do you pay for it?

RA and crohn's disease
Started
Humira
in late Dec and by the 3rd dose the side effects were awful so that was stopped. My doc is talking with my health ins. company to see what i can get approval for next. The GI doc and the rheum. doc have different opinions on what to try next.

My pharmacist asked what Humira was!
I recently went to my pharmacy for an over the counter drug and asked the assistant to check if it was ok to be taken with
Humira
. She checked with the pharmacist and he came out to me and asked what
Humira
was as he'd never heard of it. I said it's the brand name for the biologic Adalumimab.

What happened when I started Humira!
Well I started
Humira
injections and within five hours took an allergic reaction to the drug. I was ill at home for four days and then spent five days in hospital on an antibiotic drip. I am now fully recovered but am devastated that
Humira
didn't work for me!!!!

Living in fear of what is to come
Since July 2015 I have tried all the following drugs: Prednisone, Methotrexate, paquenil, Lefludimide, Pregabalin,
Humira
, Orencia, Rituxan, Bisoprolol, to name a few..I was on so many I have forgotten. My body has not responded well to any drug. Also an endless line of opiates.
