Total Knee Replacement tips with RA
I will have to stop my
Humira
I think, so any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. I know that I will be renting an ice machine for my knee and a Walker and commode but after that I’m in the dark. I suspect recovery will be longer due to the RA?

Covid & Flu Vaccinations
Also I asked a Biologic nurse whether I should miss a dose or 2 of
Humira
or Methotrexate and she told me there was no need to . I usually miss 1 week before and 1 week after. Please what are others going to do?

first time covid - symptoms expectation
Can't a RA girl just have some fun without being punished🤨 I am due for a
humira
injection tonight and MTX in couple days. I have just emailed my RA doctor for advice regarding holding up meds or not.

I’m back again …5th cycle 🤞
Annoyingly at this appointment the Doctor advised I have more detailed blood tests, if positive I would be adding in
Humira
and intralipids and something else. But would mean postponing the cycle for another 2-3 months.

The
Humira
for my Ankylosing Spondylitis is to be re-instated, which is good. He doesn’t believe it well do much for my PMR, however, he gave me a leaflet for Tocilizumab…. Interesting!

Rinvoq can anyone please advise me if they have been on this drug
I had another mri which has shown extensive inflammation throughout my spine despite being on
humira
for 7 months. Very painful indeed. The scan has picked up on damage to my C4 C5 disc which explains why I'm experiencing numbness pins and needles in arms and hands.

Adrenals etc
I recently saw my rheumatologist who is restarting
Humira
for my AS. He said that I could experiment by taking just 5mg of Pred in the hope (🤷♀️) that it might help my PMR.

uveitis and temporomandibular jaw disorder
Uveitis since 2008, well controlled using
Humira
posting today as a matter of curious interest, a very unscientific info gathering regarding: incidence of uveitis with temporomandibular jaw disorder as comorbidity.

Ankle after hip replacement due to RA
My RA flared after the operation and
Humira
was added to my Metho and hydroxy. Also on pred til the
Humira
kicks in. The flare has settled but the ankle is slowly getting a bit worse. I do have osteoarthritis in other spots but not sure if this is related.

Follow up to my “what does GCA feel like”…….
I’ve also got Ankylosing Spondylitis going on and about to start
Humira
again. I’m hoping the scalp thing is just some kind of weird anomaly Could it be a one off I wonder. Thanks for listening and I am fully aware that I need to contact my Doctor, which will be an effort in itself! X.

PMR or RA?
If the MTX wasn't working, he said he could prescribe
Humira
or Capzara (sp?) - but we think it appears to be working. He also said that he had not been on MTX long enough to see the full benefits. He has been on MTX for about 6 weeks to 8 weeks.

RA with Sjorgrens
She said the Enbrel and
humira
and remicade could push me into lupus. She said the sjorgrens is a sister to lupus and she’s trying to keep me from going down that path, hence the Orencia. She needed for my insurance company an ultrasound of my wrist to find some inflammation.

Best Arthur description I’ve read!
I am now on a biologic medication called
Humira
which I have to inject into my stomach or thigh fortnightly. Biologic medications are a newer and more targeted category of disease-modifying drugs. I inject this and daily I take four anti-inflammatory tablets and one tablet to protect the stomach.

Avoiding Methotrexate
I've been on
Humira
(once a month 40mg) for about 5 years and have had no issues with flexibility or pain. My blood work is always normal. I have not been taking Methotrexate since 2012 . Is it a bad idea? Do I need to worry about long term effects of not using MTX? Thank you!

Hydroxychloroquine for FET?? Any experiences??
Hi all, I've just completed 2 courses of
Humira
/Adalimumab to try to bring down my cytokines, but unfortunately it didn't work and they went higher (46). I have one good quality day 3 embryo on ice from 5 years ago when i was 37. I won't be getting any more as I'm in full menopause now.

Can you help?
As I am immunosuppressed on Methotrexate, prednisolone and
humira
, I have been keeping away from people for the past year - and it's been the hardest year of my life! I would like to hear from anyone here who is also unvaccinated and has had covid - to find out how it affected you.
