Update on ENT Consultation.
Hi As anyone who reads my posts will know I've been having balance problems which came on overnight in April this year. So I saw the ENT consultant on Tuesday. Had a hearing test which was good, no hearing loss. Rules out Menieres, Pressure in ear normal so they dont think its Eustachian Tube Dysfunction

Suspecting Superficial thrombosis after varicose vein surgery
So after properly bridging from Warfarin to
Heparin
(100mg a day) to get a saphenectomy (varicose veins) and after 1 week of recovery I started feeling pain in my calf (typical from DVT or similar) and narrow red zones around the leg.

Had first MRI now need to see ENT specialist
Hi I’ve had high pitched Tinnitus in my left ear for a few years now and recently after a few bad hearing tests was referred to an ENT specialist, he checked me and said I have to go for an MRI and hearing test. I had the MRI and recently received a letter saying I need to see him in a couple of weeks

Strange Hearing Muffle?
For months, possibly a year or two, I have been having weird sensations with my hearing - which I am now convincing myself is hearing loss. Some Info: Male, 20, Smoker for Several Years and practically live with headphones in (on full volume). I am having multiple hearing issues and sensations so

3rd miscarriage: Trisomy 15
After the transfer with NHS this time I was monitored during pregnancy and had
heparin
, aspirin, progynova, cyclogest, steroids, intralipids. They have tried it all but in the end I lost him, another little boy, because of Trisomy 15. I am confused, was it just back luck then?!

How does PCa affect Venous Thromboembolism risk?
For most patients, clinical guidelines currently recommend long-term anticoagulant therapy with low-molecular weight
heparin
or a DOAC to help prevent VTE recurrence, although some recommend a duration of at least 3 months, while others recommend 6 months16 or more.

Hearing assessment
I am still battling with getting clear speech from my ReSound aids. I have come to the conclusion that it’s not the aids but the settings. I see that Boots , apart from doing a hearing test, also do a full hearing assessment. I have made an appointment and see it takes more than an hour. Can anyone

Safe INR Level for Ablation?
Are these the cases where they go ahead with the procedure anyway and just add
heparin
during the procedure? Literature notes a higher risk of completions with INR <1.5 - 2.0 Thanks.

Taken off blood thinners, told I don’t have APS 14 years after being diagnosed. 22 years to find out what was wrong, now don’t know
I told the dr who then prescribed me
heparin
. The tia symptoms reduced. I explained this to the consultant in London and She said it was coincidence. They have now stopped anticoagulants and have said I don’t have APS. My bloods are now negative.

INR levels fluctuate on a daily basis
I am my worse enemy on the rare ocassion as 3 times in the past 3 months I have missed my dose, which has meant my having 18000 ul fragmin (
heparin
) injections for a few days to counteract the missed dose. Sorry I've just checked above and even I cannot see a question there.
