What to expect?
The idea that maybe the headpain might be reduced by
heparin
is one that I cling to, as right now it's my only hope of relief. I normally take a list of symptoms with me, but have seen people mention on here a kind of brief history/meds/specialists which I plan to get written up shortly.

GP who does not agree with Prof Hughes.
The Prof wants a 2 week trial of
heparin
as plavix has not helped. GP does not understand APS and as the prof has not written that he is sure it is APS then GP is worried. Says have to ask all GPs in practice if they agree to giving
heparin
as NICE do not prescribe it for APS.

clotting problems during all pregnancies/trouble now 10 years later
It only states on my C-Section report that I was on
Heparin
prenatally for elevated antiplasmin levels and increased risk of thrombosis. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Next steps?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is 325mg Aspirin enough?
I've seen some of you talk about Warfarin and
Heparin
. I'd appreciate any input.

Life after the death of Meningicoccal Septicemia :-(
I lost my beautiful 91/2mth old son to Meningicoccal Septicemia 181/2yrs ago. He was a big, blue eyed boy and always smiling and contented. The day before his death my Health Visitor did his hearing test and general check up, she said he was grand. However to me he wasn't himself so I got some paracetamol

Could Heparin or Warfarin have caused my hypothyroidism?
I was put on
Heparin
straight away for a few days but I vaguely remember that it was stopped suddenly and I was then put on Warfarin and had to stay on it for 3 months. That year, I started feeling unwell and got gradually worse.

Would this suggest Lupus to you?
My daughter has been unwell for nigh on 2 years with fatigue, rashes, joint pain, sore throat, depression and as I have Lupus I am becoming more of the opinion that so has she. She was at the Doc (again) this week with a sore throat (again) and he diagnosed tonsilitis (again). He gave her Doxicycline

My story from birth to now.
They advised me that the next time I get pregnant I should start
heparin
injections. Now I am here sat on the chairs typing my story with my phone, almost a year since I've lost my little blob, I now know what is wrong, kinda obvious since I have fainting spells and funny turns.

Frustrated
Put on
heparin
during pregnancy. A neurologist told me was high risk for stroke. Yrs later I developed MS symptoms, but I don't fit the MS criteria-spine lesion in unusual location,no eye symptoms, no brain lesions,etc.. No one has been dx for the last 5y. They keep repeating MRI.
