Day 1 as a CHADD member

When I was a child, ADHD was not something the world knew about. there was no understanding, no diagnosis, no help, and certainly no treatment. I just thought I was dumber than the rest of the world. Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone could advise me about what to do going forward. In February 2023 I woke up one morning and I felt like the whole room was spinning and I was struggling to hear out of my left ear. This happened for over a week. I went to the doctors and they prescribed some antihistamine

Fertility after COVID with miscarriage history
I have quite low AMH and would need
heparin
, progesterone and aspirin on next positive result. These are all very surprising given how easily I seem to conceive but were uncovered while testing in recurrent miscarriage clinic. Time is not on my side, though I'm only 36 years.

No medications helped except for temporary relief morphine and a
heparin
drip during multiple ER visits. The sickness I experienced and the ever present spector of sudden death destroyed all hope. In January of this year I had my second cardio version which showed promise.

my ear infection healed but my tinnitus hasn’t

The doctor examined my ears again and said they were fine, even though I still have tinnitus and sometimes itchiness. My ears are also

Confusion after hearing test
Hi folks, just wondered if I can get some opinions please? I was thinking my tinnitus which is a mild high pitched ringing mostly in my right ear, was caused by noise damage/hearing loss. I've had a couple of decades of being a working musician in bands, but the last 10 years or so have been performing

My tinnitus story so far (9 months and counting)
Here's my story so far, for if it helps anybody. Please comment if it relates to you in any way.
Day 1 - The start
I was at the office and I heard a weird roaring sound in my left ear. I went to the bathroom, held my nose and blew to relieve pressure like on a plane, but it was obvious this

I’ve had tinnitus for 3 years now (covid infection caused it) ENT wasn’t helpful as ears and hearing test are good for age.. and don’t want to see me again Anybody know best next steps? I’ve been wondering about nerve damage being the cause 🤷♀️ want to see the gp with an idea of what needs doing

Not sure what to do next
Hello. I suddenly developed loud tinnitus in my left ear 3 months ago and went to the doctors. It's a very high pitched ringing and varies between loud and very loud and sometimes has different pitches all at once like an orchestra. It's constant, 24/7. I'd had a very slight ringing for several months

How Long For A Referral?
I had a hearing test some years ago and was told there was between 10% and 30% loss in my left ear depending on frequency. Two years ago I had a bad bout of the Delta variant. I was bedridden for two weeks. At the same time my voice changed and my hearing deteriorated. My voice returned to normal (I

Dull pain back of head and neck.
My hubby has had ongoing issues with his left ear, doc thought he had an ear infection, was given antibiotics, didn’t help. Then he started with headaches which was unusual for him. He then had a fullness feeling in his head, constantly tired and a dull pain at the back of his head. Also has tinnitus
