Advice needed - teenager with tinnitus
My 15 yr old son has suffered noises in his ears for as long as he can remember but only told us a few years ago as he thought it was normal. He saw a consultant in 2015 who didn't actually diagnose tinnitus but agreed that it seemed likely and said he would have to learn to live with it. He was sent

PE and warfarin. Scared to take it. Scared to stop taking it.
I was admitted and put on
heparin
injections and sent home on xarelto. I developed extreme blurry vision and was told at ER that it must be coincidental my eyesight was getting bad and it had nothing to do with the xarelto. I chose to not take 2 doses and the blurry vision stopped.

She was referred to specialist ‘lupus pregnancy’ clinic and treated through the whole of the next pregnancy with both aspirin and
heparin
. Success. With similar treatment, Mrs R now has two healthy children………… ………….Ten years on Mrs R started to complain of frequent headaches and ‘funny turns’.

New DVT May 21 2017
Some people-
heparin
just does not suit them. So this is three DVT's in 6 months. Twice on high intensity anticoagulants. Warfarin once and lovenox once. They doctor wanted to air lift me to San Antonio... After calling my heme in SA ( one hour away) my heme wanted to treat me at home.

INR Too High/ Infection ?
I've just switched a week ago today from LMW
Heparin
to Wafarin so we are trying to establish my dose. I feel great with INR this high! ( I am leery to even report it to hematologist I feel so well! But that would not be fair to him... I'm about to call.)

Own it and beat it
So I have my ENT referral after four months of living with constant high pitched T. I've already had an initial hearing test and been diagnosed so hopefully this will offer the further support that I probably need. The sound oasis 650 has worked wonders. It's so much more beneficial the using a Bluetooth

First time posting
Good evening, I had an appointment with my GP regarding Tinnitus in my L ear. She sent me for ear irrigation as there was a lot of wax in that ear, thinking that may be the cause plus I booked myself in for a hearing test at Boots. I got the hearing test this morning and the audiologist has said I

Multivitamins and Heparin
Hi all, Looking for some advise or general info from your experience please. I have APS (Hughes Syndrome), and we are trying for a family, therefore my consultant has switched my meds from warfarin to Tinzaparin and Asprin daily. I want to take a pregnancy multivitamin but my pharmacist said to avoid

Care for Tinnitus
When I first got tinnitus with severe hyperacusis twenty one years ago I was in quite a state for a considerable length of time. Many people reading this post will be able to relate to this having been in a similar position with their tinnitus at one time or another. My appointment to be seen at ENT

Update
Long story short I need
heparin
in order to conceive successfully- in fact once
heparin
was taken I fell pregnant straight away on both occasions without complication. Now I know from my own experience this is an emerging field of medicine.

One sided pulsatile tinnitus: visit to ENT
This may be a double post - thought I'd posted about it yesterday, but it can't find it, so please be gentle with me. I've been aware of rather annoying "whooshing" in my left ear since the beginning of the year. It seems to be in the same rythym as my heart beating, and sounds very like what you hear

Ear Conditions.
Hi everyone, I 'm new to DeafPlus. I was born with poor hearing in my right ear and good hearing in my left ear. By the time I reached mid-teens I was wearing a hearing aid behind the ear with an ear mould, which lasted until my early twenties and after that I gradually lost my hearing completely in
