What can I do to stop getting colds and flus all the time?
Hi. I've been on IM B12 for about a year now and all symptoms have improved and I'm generally doing really well. I suspect B1 deficiency (improvement with oral supplementation) was present and I corrected D deficiency. I have hashimotos thyroiditis and am stable on medication. I still get colds and flus

Has anyone had this? Desperate for answers
for about 2 months now I can feel my thyroid is swollen - I had blood tests by doctors and confirmed that my hormone levels are normal and thyroid is functioning. I then had an ultra sound which said that my thyroid was ‘diffuesly enlarged’ and that I also had ‘tiny cysts’ I have now been referred

Now I'm going to have my 3rd test today. Dr said it doesn't sound very promising 😔 my urine tests have progressively got darker but no

Hello ☺️ I have Hashimotos myself and I would like to get my daughter tested also plus her key vitamins as her periods are heavy at the moment and lasting 7 days so her iron could be low . I could try GP but doubt they will check everything ! Many thanks , Kelly 💝

Poole Conference 14 March 2024
Theme Navigating Treatment Pathways beyond Chemotherapy. I am on watch and wait and fairly new to this site. I attended the conference to get a better insight into treatments available. As we all know we are all different and different treatments suit different people. I found it very informative

What to do when denosumab course ends?
I have been on denosumab injections since July 2019, so the injection that I am to have next month will probably be my last. During this time I have not had a Dexa scan at all. I am under "shared care" between my GP and the hospital, which is in practice a complete joke, as I have to dairy it, order

Anxiety v Asthma
Hi I visited my GP who prescribed Prednisone a week ago as she thought I had a viral infection. My only Asthma symptom has always been a tight chest, but as this has been ongoing for a fortnight despite the Pred my anxiety has gone through the roof because this isn’t my norm with regards to Asthma!

Hello - I'm about to return to the Mayo for the first review since my previous visit last November. As I've reported here, my last major treatment was chemo with cabazitaxel at the Oncology Center in Nicosia, Cyprus, where I live. This was successful: PSA fell from 83 at the start of chemo to about 3

A little update
Hi all, I just thought I'd give a little update as I've not posted here in about a year and just possibly my experience may be of interest. I am not in ANY way invalidating anyone else's condition or treatment, this is just my story. For years I have struggled with low mood, lacking 'oomph' in life.

Blood Test Questions
I've been looking at the last lot of blood tests that my doctor did and was wondering if the serum ferritin level is low or ok. Cholesterol
Hello all, Following a recent blood test, I've received a message from my GP saying my cholesterol is a bit high and advising lifestyle changes and offering statins. I'm currently researching statins trying to make an informed decision. I read that they are advised for CVD. I have a leaking Mitral valve

New GP is considering to give me B12 pills instead of injections - would that be the same in the long run?
Started having B12 injections two yeas ago and worked fine. Now moved to a new village and the new GP ordered blood tests to see if I should continue. Fought back and said that without the injections my B12 levels are going down. He asked me to take vitamin pills and have another blood test. If levels
