B12 and feet
Hi all, Have posted before. I have been on 3 monthly B12 injections for a long time, and recently been put on 2 monthly injections after a blood test due to symptoms getting worse. One symptom that seems to be getting worse, very hot feet, pins & needles really painful to walk on. Any suggestions

GP App
so I had an echocardiogram in February and they said if I don’t hear anything they will review me in 12 months re my AF with a view to discharging me. This sounded great and I haven’t heard anything. However, I’ve just gone on my GP app tonight to check a blood test and I couldn’t believe my eyes when

Bruising
Sudden bruising on legs and arms. Blood test is ok but I still have this. It can be an effect of levothyroxine?

Statins/Eczema/Psoriasis/Itching
I've been on 40mg Atorvastatin since my HA in May 2021. Last November I noticed I was doing a lot more itching. Had a blood test, my bilirubin and ALT levels were raised. Whilst trying to sort that out, I noticed u was breaking out in blotches/red spots and what look like small fungal patches. My GP

signatera increase
has anyone doing the signatera testing (ctDNA blood analysis) had a small increase? I was 0 or negative for the past year, but most recent blood test shows 0.03. They said it's too small to really analyze, but I don't like it. We will redraw blood in a few weeks. I know this new science for us with MBC

scaring of the heart
Hi 😊😊 I had emergency surgery for perforated bowel Dec 22. I was in hospital for 8 weeks. There were many complications but I’m still here. I had an ICD fitted, this because I had 2 cardiac arrests 🙈. I’ve had many scans and MRI and they found scaring on my heart ❤️ I’ve had genetics blood test

more of Dr. Jones' '2 minutes versions'
from Dr Jones' book - Cholestyramine (Questran) is the first line treatment for the itching. If this doesn't work, then taking Rifampicin is the next line of therapy. Even when this is effective, it can make the liver worse. It is very important to check liver function tests after taking Rifampicin

Diagnosed end of April, 2 days of intravenous pred @ 500, 1 day at intravenous @ 1mg and then onto 60, 50, 40, 35 - just started on 30 today. Bloods from 3rd June came back with liver and kidney markers out of range ....... steroids 🤷♀️ Have a slot to discuss the results with the surgery pharmacy

GCA and strokes
Last Wednesday I had a telephone Drs appointment about my blood test results. In among I happened to mention I had had a feeling on my left side of both my leg and arm similar to eleven years ago when I started with GCA and also had a TIA. As a result I was given an appointment to visit another doctor
