GF Waffles 🧇: Lunch 11-27-2022
For today’s lunch, I had extra crunchy peanut butter with two gluten free waffles and a Greek lemon meringue yogurt. Everything was delicious and the
total amount of carbs. for the meal was 61.
We have waffles every Sunday afternoon for lunch, but the flavor of yogurt is different now and then

PICSI or ZYMOT? also Intralipid or IVIG?
Good Morning everyone, I hope you are all well and having a good start to the week. I am hoping someone can add some valuable points or thoughts to help on our next and final round of ICSi. We have had 6 rounds of ICSI and the closest we got to a BFP, sadly ended up an ectopic on round 5. This round

Advanced PCa and workplace accomodation
Cancer is an ADA-covered health condition. (FWIW it also qualifies one for a handicap car placard.) For those in this group who are still employed, how has it gone to report your status and request accommodations? I have a white collar technical job I can do a lot from home. On-site I enjoy a semi-private

Further problems with allergy - what to do?
In February I wrote a post about an allergy crisis that I had just had, and many of you responded very kindly with good feedback and information. The situation has however developed and I am now feeling more at a loss than before and would certainly appreciate further comments and feedback. I will

Best medicine available
Take 3 to 6 times per week in doses 20 to 60 minutes with potency light to intense. You guessed “ EXERCISE “. It can be done laying down , in a wheel chair with repetitive movements of joints with light weights or bands for improvements. Squeeze a rubber ball. Get creative and work around the pain

Question about IVIG infusion
Just diagnosed in January 2023. My Dr says it is too soon to order IVIG infusion for me. I want to do some traveling this summer and would hate to get sick while on vacation. What is the criteria to get IVIG and does insurance/ medicare pay for these infusions. I hear so many good things from everyone

Intralipids and IVIG
Hi Would love to hear from those who have had either Intralipids or IVIG. It has been suggested that I have one or the other. My natural killer cells and cytokines were high. Can people share their experiences of these? I'm feeling anxious and don't know which to choose. The intralipids are obviously

2 Questions about IVIG
Hi folks, Just wondering: how often should one have their IG numbers checked? Also, if a person were to need/get an IVIG infusion, does that mean they’d pretty much be needing them on repeat forever? Or can one or just a couple be enough? If the questions are annoyingly dumb, sorry! —Dave!

IVIG after heart surgery and stopping IBRUTIMIB
12 months ago I was on an Ibrutinib clinical trial for my CLL. Ibrutinib worked great for me for years. I found out I needed a triple bypass due to 95% LAD artery blockage. Not good! A stent wasn’t an option in my case due to necessity for blood thinners. Can’t do blood thinners, aspirin and Irbutinib

Rapid onset of burning in joints at rest and worse when moving
My conditions are in my bio (plus a new one… granulamatosis angiitis of the brain and cns). I’ve had pain in some of my joint (hands and feet) that are easily attributed to swelling and nerve damage. Nothing new there. But over the past month I started feeling burning in most of my major joints (shoulders

Tilapia Loin with Creamy Dressing, Asparagus and Whole Grain roll
The roll is an oatmeal roll made with whole wheat and spread with EVOO, a little salt and plenty of garlic powder; the asparagus was blanched then tossed in olive oil and topped with lemon zest and the tilapia loin is covered in a creamy herbal lemon aoli.

Dad has stage 4 cirrhosis
So I think my question is what does this mean for his life , if he's got no symptoms right now and he's trying to be
healthy
does he have a good chance of
living
a good few years happy and pain free? One place I read stage 4 means 6months - 2 years another place I read says can be 10 years .

Quinoa Salad
This makes enough for 3 people to enjoy 2 meals (6 servings). I did substitute some items in here (like subbing goat cheese for feta to cut back on sodium) 3 tablespoons red-wine vinegar 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano 1 clove garlic, minced ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil ½ teaspoon

Erectile Dysfunction
Still having Ed problems. I was given Viagra/Sindafil which didn't really do that much. I believe Cialis is better, quicker and longer lasting. Must contact GP as it's making me feel a bit depressed. Have to use pps to get off. Anyone else in the same situation?
