Groin Pain
Hi So for the past few months I have had a pain in my groin on the right side that feels like a twinge every so often. This pain occasionally radiates as a dull ache to my lower back or even hips and on a rare occasion can be felt on the other side of the groin. I have been to see my GP and had a physical

GCA/PMR One Year on (?)
Hi everyone. I haven't posted on the site before but find all the questions and answers intriguing. Just over a year ago I suddenly had a very stiff and painful neck with headaches. This quickly spread to the base of my skull and I couldn't sleep at all. Tried heat, airline pillows, everything. Painkillers

Feeling forced to take pain medication
For nearly 15 years I have refused to take any pain relief except from paracetamol this was mainly due to being a single parent with 4 very young boys and didn’t want to not be in control of myself or become dependent on any form of pain relief. 2 years ago I was in a really bad way regarding the amount

Feeling worse after B12 Injections
It felt like a sharp throbbing
pain
on one side of my
head
behind my eye. I turned around and drove home and spent the whole day on the couch. After talking to my family I realized that it was a severe migraine (this was the first migraine I have had).

Painkillers for Drain Pain
Last night I suffered excruciating drain pain through all 8 hours of dialysis this has never happened to me before. All day my stomach has felt tender and tight. I never ever take painkillers for anything but last night was horrible. Does anyone know if painkillers would help or I am open to any other

8 Days Post Op
So I thought I’d share my story in the hope that it helps someone else make an informed choice if circumcision is on their radar. I’m a 40 yo male who has always had a very bad case of phimosis. Very tight foreskin that just would not retract at all and as a result was very paranoid about the appearance

T3 only dosing how high to go?
I love the improvements compared to T4 and for the first time in years have a clear
head
, clear eyesight and no muscle
pain
or weakness. But in the last two weeks I just feel so tired for much of the day, especially in the morning after a long gap from T3.

Suspected Endometriosis
I’ve always worried the
pain
is just in my
head
but when I can’t walk or get out of bed, I know I’m not being ridiculous. But I’m also scared to be diagnosed and know I’ll have this condition for life.

Gallbladder Op and AF
Hi All I had my gallbladder removed in hospital yesterday and couldn't have been looked after better. The staff were all amazingly kind and caring, someone must have come to see me about every 15 minutes and I had umpteen cups of tea. It was only arranged last week and I had the appointment because someone
