Chest Tightness
Hello. I have been here before because I was worried about a tightness sensation I was getting in my chest. I have since been to A&E to get checked, had all the tests (blood tests, ECG, x-ray), and everything was fine. Straight after the tests I was taken to a specialist part of the hospital as a follow-up

*UPDATE - OTD - Negative š.* How is it possible to want to know something soo bad, but then be too scared for the official test date!?
I did think this was probably just a faulty batch but the clinic advised me to come in for a
HCG
beta anyway. It was confirmed that my beta was negative, but I think I knew that anyway. I stopped all my meds yesterday afternoon, so my period should be here in the next few days.

I'm now really nervous š¬ but glad I'll have less time to freak out š As a side note last night was terrible

Confused. Any advice appreciated!
Having been diagnosed only 12 days ago I found myself back in A & E in the early hours of this morning! I reckon this attack started about half an hour before I woke as I'm sure I sort of new I had it. Woke up at 4 am to full blown AF. Tried breathing exercises, reading, walking around but by 6am realised

Hi. I had a mild heart attack in October 2021, one stent fitted. Follow up echocardiogram ecg in April 2022, all good, told no further appointments unless there's any problems. I am currently on Candesartan, Bisoprolol, Omeprazole, Aspirin and Rosuvastatin. No one has reviewed this since October 2022

Please can any of you explain to me what exactly is a Clinical Physiologist ? I usually see my cardiologist once a year, along with a routine echocardiogram and ecg. This year, I saw my GP because I have been getting a lot of palpitations which Kardia diagnose as PVCs and SVEs ) He said he would contact

Inferior Infart
I had an ECG yesterday. I had only a glimpse of the chart and on it was 'Inferior Infart'. Does anyone know what this means? Thanks, Paul.

Hi everyone, to give you an update, just got my
HCG
results back (I am 11dp5dt) as official test day and itās at 492! Really shocked and relieved šš«¶š¼š„° Interestingly though my progesterone has dipped, I had it originally drawn the day before my transfer and it was 45, and today it was 36.5.

Celiac disease and haematology
My daughter has taken over my care with the doctor. He wants me to eat gluten after being off it since 2013 and have a celiac test. He has been onto haematology about my red blood cells. The normal range should be 100 and mine was a 110. They were not worried but he thinks it because I am not eating.

A Miracle Has Happened, also a Gentle Warning to Everyone Taking Flecainide
Hi Everyone I used to take 100mg Flecainide alongside 12.5mg of Metoprolol twice daily for many years - perhaps as many as 7 - 10 years. Last August my cardiologist looked at my ECG and said you need to stop taking Flecainide as it looks like that could be causing your problems - tiredness and breathless

Ectopic beats
Hi thereI just had an ecg and was doing ok until the last few seconds when I had to stop as my legs were sore and breathing was laboured. It turns out I had some polymorphic ventricular ectopics which on the print out looked like ky heart had gone crazy. No chest pain at all. I am already taking verapamil
