pericarditis
Hi everyone, I'm just looking for a little bit of advice from any fellow sufferers... I was diagnosed with pericarditis in January on the 10th day of a Covid-19 infection, after ending up in A&E due to chest pain and difficulty breathing. That acute pericarditis went away around a month later, but

Little update
Hey Everyone Just a little update from me, Olive is doing really well, growing nicely and around midnight until 3am she has a little rave in my womb and is really active. She is definitely going to be a party goer and a footballer when she's older. Dan has moved in with my mum while he recovers,

Syncope is a symptom not a condition
Do you and your GP appreciate that Syncope is a symptom not a condition? Every patient who experiences a blackout should be given a 12-lead ECG to check heart rhythm analysis and look for arrhythmias and genetic, inherited or familial heart rhythm disorders. STARS website, www.stars.org.uk

Strong negative reaction to first Docetaxel treatment
I am participating in an NIH study combining Docetaxel with an immunotherapy. I had my first treatment of only Docetaxel this Tuesday. I lasted 2 minutes and 7cc before I had a severe reaction - severe flushing (glowing red from head to toe), difficulty breathing, sweating, uncontrollable shivering.

ecg monitor - electrical interference
hello I had my 7 day ecg monitor put on yesterday! Been having fluttering and flip / flop sensations. Not hopeful will show up as can be intermittent. Usually happen at rest. But I remembered this morning a paramedic previously taking my ecg at home saying to turn off the electric riser recliner chair

AF changing its face
I posted recently about my paroxysmal AF (since 2020) normally lasting up to 3 days, this time now entering its 8th day. Went to GP yesterday, all the usual tests, ECG, nothing abnormal except irregular heartbeat. The conclusion being probable it has done its time on paroxysmal and is trying out persistent

sudden sharp pain
can anyone relate to a sudden sharp body pain that goes as quickly as it comes? I was vacuuming earlier & had a really sharp pain under my left breast/top of stomach. It scared me thinking it’s my heart but I had cardio tests, ecg, heart scan & 48 hour monitor test last November & everything was good

New to all this
76 years old, no heart problems as far as I knew, just had one of my better games of golf for a couple of years and started to get an ache in my chest in the evening. So phoned the Healthline (I live in NZ) and they had a 30 minute wait, so tried the ambulance service, who operate a triage service.

Wenckebach phenomenon
I have had two heart surgeries in the past and was getting skipped heart beats for a while. After my 24 hour ECG they found something called wenckebach phenomenon. Anyone have any idea what this is and is it normal for someone with a heart condition

occasional AF
My husband has recently had several bouts of AF lasting just a few minutes each. Heart rate only slightly raised. He is 72, pretty fit and not overweight. Had an ECG at the doctors which didn't detect AF. GP just said to leave it but call an ambulance if happens again and he is breathless. Is this how
