Blood test results - high haemocrit, high Hb
So my last blood test has come up with high haemocrit and
haemoglobin
and this has terrified me so much and cant stop thinking about it. I’ve even thought maybe its showing I have a horrific illness and it was never anxiety!!!! Anyone else had high haemocrit and Hb?

Angina, low dose aspirin
I am wondering if the fact I am on aspirin and pantoprezole are anything to do with the low iron, as looking back on past blood tests my
haemoglobin
levels were higher before taking aspirin.

Anyone near Dorking in Surrey who’d like to meet up?
I’m taking 15 mg ruxolitinib twice a day, and since weekly injections of EPO were added, my
haemoglobin
levels have pretty well normalised. Definitely feel more energetic. I really enjoyed meeting other people with MPNs at the Edinburgh forum recently.

Fatigue
Good Day Everyone My question is, should I be feeling fatigued with lymphocytes around 43 and
haemoglobin
at 12.1 g/dl or could the fatigue be caused by some other blood deficiency such as iron or vitamin B12.

Hysteroscopy bleeding
They checked again my blood, told that
haemoglobin
dropped a bit but not too much, prescribed tranexamic acid (which I was talking before and it didn't help) and sent me home again. My bleeding is still quite heavy - 7 night pads during 14 hours.

EPO and IV iron infusion
Now her
haemoglobin
has again came down again. Can anyone please advice me that how frequently doctors can give her IV infusion iron shots along with EPO shots. I am assuming that iron pills are not working for her therefore doctor stopped the iron pill for her. Any advice would be great for me.

Determining if you'll never need treatment. It is feasible and safe to stop specialized follow-up of asymptomatic lower risk CLL?
So if you are deemed to have low risk CLL/SLL, this is where your knowledge of CLL/SLL becomes very important in ensuring your long term health and why it makes sense to track your critical blood test results;
haemoglobin
and platelet counts and lymphocyte doubling time, as well as being observant

Stomach cancer
Blood tests revealed very low in
haemoglobin
and iron. She was given 2 infusion for blood and one for iron. She then went for endoscopy app. The girl who did the endoscopy was suspicious of malignancy in stomach. She noticed bleeding in stomach as well.

Is this normal?
After my blood tests last week I was asked to go in on Thursday for a transfusion, as
haemoglobin
only 69. Felt better for a few days after that but started to get breathless again from Tuesday. Had another transfusion today. Nurse said I might need them weekly for a while.

Pegasys and increasingly low haemoglobin count
Platelets are up and down and hovering around 300 but
haemoglobin
has continually dropped and now stands at 119. Has anyone else experienced a steady drop in
haemoglobin
counts whilst on pegasys, after a similar period of time (5 years)? Did reducing the dosage reverse the situation?

Should I be worried?
My recent bloods of 4th December show:
Haemoglobin
, 107. overall WBC, 110. Platelets, 162. WBC 3.64. and Lymphocytes,104. I have to be honest, I don't really know what they all mean. But she seemed to indicate that, those that readings meant treatment was needed now.

B12 Deficiency or Underactive Thyroid at Play?
Recently, my FBC came back with:
Mean cell
level 32.7 pg [27.0 - 32.0]; Above high reference limit Only just above the range. Am I right in thinking this confirms anemia?
