How to Starve Cancer
The book gets quite technical towards the end, which I found difficult but from it all I have decided to try three new supplements:
glucosamine
sulphate, curcumin and berberine. Has anyone else taken these supplements and were there any side effects?

NSAIDS do not help and I am taking
glucosamine
and chondroitin, and calcium and D3. Any suggestions for anything else I can do to help alleviate some of this pain? Many thanks!

(Still gluten-free, thinking of cutting out my daily live sheep yoghurt, which is my only real dairy, but reluctant as it's a good probiotic and helps keep my protein intake up. ) My joints also feel achy and stiff again (but i ran out of

A newbie question about vitamin D3
I had Garlic tablets,
Glucosamine
& Chondroitin, vit B, vit D3 and zinc. After my DEXA scan, my old GP put me on Alendronic acid and Calcichew D3 Forte. She told me to stop taking the Vit D which was 25 micrograms. The Calcichew has 10 micrograms of D3. So I’ve been on less D3 than I was before.

They are optimal on thyroid meds + B12, B9, Iron, not sure about D) My immediate thought is Vit D, calcium, K2 & Mg… maybe
glucosamine
? does anyone have anything to suggest that they have used themselves with success? I’m loathe to buy more supplements that seem to be inconsequential.

Meanwhile I started myself on
glucosamine
and chondroitin plus curcuma. I'm now pain free so whether it's just time, the great healer or the pills I pop I don't know.

I've been taking
glucosamine
off and on, mostly on, for about thirty years. Only recently have I learned that it *may* cause some insulin resistance and elevated blood sugar.

Medichecks Result and a warning about testing & HRT
Prior to this I was taking Vit C, methylated B complex, D3, K2-MK7, magnesium malate, probiotic,
glucosamine
, iron, selenium and zinc and omega 3 fish oil. It's quite a lot so I was worried I was overdoing it, but it seems not. I eat a normal fairly balanced diet and weight train 3 times a week.
