Stopping med for gastroscopy
GP wants me to have a
gastroscopy
but I think this means I will have to stop the omeprazole for 2 weeks beforehand. Is there any way around this? I am very worried about managing those weeks with pain, nausea etc. Thanks

Help needed in long term effects of RAI for Graves Disease, long term use of Levothyroxine and how I go about transitioning to NDT.
I had numerous blood tests that led to no findings and at the start of this year I had a
gastroscopy
and endoscopy, again with normal results.

Normocytic Anemia,.
I have had 12 weekly B12 injections for a few years now. In February I discovered I have Normocytic anemia, and my gp told me that it occurs due to blood loss and my red cell count is low. I had a FIT test wwhich came back negative, which is great. But I am having a colonoscopy and gastrostomy

have acid reflux and now Gastritis
After a blood test showed a really low blood count my GP sent me for a
gastroscopy
and a colonoscopy as well as to ENT for some quite bad nose bleeds. The
gastroscopy
resulted in a diagnosis of Gastritis and I would love to know if anyone has found any successful treatment.

Failed gastroscopy
So I have been on the list for a
gastroscopy
since I was diagnosed with cirrhosis last July. Because of severe abdo pain for the last few weeks it was brought forward as urgent and I had it this morning. I have had several of these before, all bar the first one with sedation.

Carvedilol
But after a recent
gastroscopy
I was put on Carvedilol. I had dreadful side effects. Plummeting blood pressure and no appetite. I have barely eaten for over a week. I have spoken to my GP, the pharmacist and the hospital. No-one seems to take my concerns seriously.

IBS or something else?
I have had
gastroscopy
, endoscopy, ultrasound, and numerous blood tests. I quit drinking over a week ago because it makes the lower back pain worse and I am eating a lot better. does anyone else have these issues? my stool are normal not floating and dark brown.

Autoimmune stomach problems & PPI's
Hi all, just had a
gastroscopy
which showed inflammation of the stomach lining & small bowel. Have been given omeprazole PPI 20mg but I'm worried about implications of taking this e.g. malabsorption of vitamins & Levothyroxine.

Help!!
I have had every test going from chest X-ray to CT scan,
gastroscopy
, numerous bloods and all have come back clear. The only thing I can think of is it anything to do with years of coughing or my Mepo injections. Has anyone experienced anything like this, I’m at a loss and miserable.

Ibs flare up or something else?
Hi, for the last 2 weeks my stomach issues have re-emerged: excessive wind (belching & flatulence), lots of gurgling in stomach, diarrhoea, gnawing pain around lower ribs, intestinal aches&cramps, and generally feeling wiped out. Have been gluten free for years due to being moderately intolerant, and

Hiatus hernia / Oesophagitis / Gastritis
In any event, today I had a
gastroscopy
, which revealed hiatus hernia, grade A oesophagitis, reflux and gastritis. The gastroenterologist took biopsies, which will take some time to return and in the meantime he is prescribing omeprazole.

The Jab
I'm a bit worried as I am waiting on a ct scan and
gastroscopy
and apart from Multiple liver cysts and enlarged liver (found on ultra sound) they are looking for possible Pancreatitis and blocked bile duct. Not knowing what exactly my Liver issues are I dont know if it would be safe.

Anyone recognise these symptoms?
I have just completed a
gastroscopy
, CT scan, MRI scan with contrast and PET CT scan. I am awaiting an endoscopy. One 1.4mm duodenal nodule was found but no uptake on the PET Scan so viewed as a coincidental finding.

Asthma combined with other conditions?
In looking for the causal link for the low iron I have to have camera investigations for colonoscopy and
gastroscopy
. Pre-assessment on Monday afternoon.
