CT Scan
Just got results from CT scan that oncologist ordered as my CA125 has been rising steadily. I’m so worried because Scan showed a small amount of ascites in pelvic area but no tumor growth. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and if it meant definite reoccurrence. Waiting to hear from doctor

Precision Drug Olaparib May Be Effective Without Hormone Therapy for Some Men with Biochemically Recurrent Prostate Cancer
Note: there is something better than olaparib that is being tested at the moment, something more precise and less toxic (saruparib) but still this is a very interesting news for people with HRR mutations, especially BRCA 1/2 because they are proving that this approach can work even without a simultaneous

Thyroid Antibodies
Just read a post from Thyroid UK about antibodies. The raised TPO connection seems clear, but then It says “The next group is the TG Ab. These levels rise as well as the TPO Ab levels in autoimmune thyroiditis, but to a lesser degree...” I don’t understand what this is saying…does it mean that BOTH

Started O plus V a few weeks ago. i have a question
I feel great after a few infusions and am starting pills next week. My bloodwork was normal for the first time in 10 years. I seem to be nervous about everything. My lymph nodes were down and now I feel a little one back. Should I be concerned or is this what happens. I go back next weeks for infusions

Does fear play a role with pernicious anemia?
Hey guys, I hope this message finds you well. It's good to have a place to come that someone has some understanding of what you're going through! I messaged here before about having fear of a lot of things that I didn't have before this PA/B12 deficiency and sometimes I think of myself as a wimp because

The effect of a B complex on raised liver enzymes with discomfort/pain
As mad as it sounds, every time I re start a B complex the liver pain returns I’ve had mildly raised liver enzymes with early morning liver discomfort, every single day for years but recently both have worsened and the discomfort became actual pain. However, on rising, the pain dissipates immediately

what tests should I get initially if I suspect there is a thyroid problem
Hi I’m new to all this but my grandmother and mother have a history with thyroid cancer but both was caught very late. My family wants me to get tested but my gp only wants to do a blood test. Is that enough? What do I look out for and what should I ask my doctor to test for? Should I go to a private

How does one distinguish cancer related pain vs musculoskeletal pain due to ADT ?
I am on Orgovyx since 2 months and added Xtandi 3 weeks ago. Been getting musculoskeletal pains , mostly around late evening. Not too much - moderate kinds. My question is are there any pointers which can help distinguish which pains are due to ADT and which may be due to the cancer itself ?
