Worried Lady
Since Christmas I have not been able to go properly and the GP increased the Laxido to 3 per day plus
Fybogel
. I am now finding that although my stools are soft the urge to go is almost non existent. Has anyone got any suggestions? Thank you.

Is this really diarrhoea or constipation?
Or should I be treating this more like constipation and taking a regular laxative (I`m very nervous of doing that as it likely to increase the stomach ache and urgency) Please don`t tell me anything about diet or stuff like
fybogel
- I`ve done all of that and had all the tests to rule out anything else

Advice Please
Severe constipation I used to take 1 and a half movicol satchets a night with ok results, now I am having to take 2 and a half with
fybogel
plus linseed on breakfast cereal to barely pass a B/O. Stomach very bloated and guts highly sensitive to just about anything, even drinks.

What can you do to ‘bulk’ up poop?
My gp gave me
Fybogel
but I don’t want to take it as it has aspartame in it and that really doesn’t agree with me. Does anyone have any other suggestions how I can achieve my goal of getting a normal poop ( in my mind that’s a sausage!!)

Fybogel causing loose motions?
I don`t think I have eaten anything that would have caused this but it seems unlikely such a small amount of
Fybogel
would have done this. Has anyone else reacted like this to
Fybogel
?

IBS D - things I am going to try!
- I take
fybogel
but I am living in China and I'm about to run out so I have bought natural psyllium husk powder, and I am going to see if this helps as much or more than
fybogel
- though I have read that Recugel is better?

A year later and my IBS D is back! :(
I have
fybogel
everyday but I am going to run out soon so I really need a replacement. I have buscopan but I don't use it so often now, mainly sometimes when I go out to eat. Hot water helps with bloating.

KimiJea UPDATE
Normally if going out somewhere , I would take Imodium as a safety measure , then get bunged up and have pain , then take
Fybogel
to get to loo for relief. Often needed to get to loo urgently , particularly after eating.
