scleroderma and faecal incontinence
morning. I’m struggling with this at the moment and it’s limiting me to what I can do. I’ve seen a surgeon recently who mentioned a stoma as a last resort but I’m not sure about it. I’m not suitable for a rectal stimulator. I’m using pads and loperamide but wondered if anyone else has a similar problem

endocrinologist or rheumatologist ...
Mum's endo retiring soon, so, feeling lack of continuity of care, plus she was after a second opinion, is a rheumatologist worth consulting? mainly a question about stacking forteo on prolia, that's the plan, as Mum had a prolia dose, then endo wanted to start forteo straight away, for at least 9

forteo terrosa pen
there are few if any videos on administrating a dose of forteo. what's the volume of a single dose? are all the doses stored within the pen? it's it similar to insulin injecting?, because Mum will need to be shown m surely the nurses at the GP's will be able to do demonstrate and do the first shot

XGEVA and ONJ
I finished 10 cycles of doxytaxel and got XGEVA several times. The last two it was discontinued because I reported minor oddities in my teeth. These have gotten a little worse. I will be seeing my dentist but not for about a month. Questions, now that doxy is done (for now) do I still need the XGEVA

Xgeva with zytiga, orgovyx and prednisone
Some Xgeva side effects have me very concerned, such as potential for ONJ, broken femur, and then potential for multiple vertebrae
fractures
if/when treatment ends. Understood that everyone is a little different. Thanks in advance!

Mould Issues

About Radiation After Radical Prostatectomy
Do Physicians only recommend radiation for non metastatic men? and only recently in Oligo metastatic patients? Do they use radiation as a tool to bring psa down in metastatic men? and or radiation is only used as palliative for bones and pain? My apologies, If I’m not processing this thoroughly

osteoporosis in hips but normal bone density in spine
I have just been told I have osteoporosis in my hips with a T score of -2.6. I am 49 and on long term steroids so assuming this is the cause. A number of years ago I was prescribed oral biphosphanates that I didn’t tolerate following an osteopenic result on dexa scan I am not sure if anyone can answer

your attention, then it can prevent you from focusing on one thing long enough to see it through to completion. Curious, but unfocused.

Darolutamide
Can anyone here advice on SE of this drug please. I have been on Zoladex this last 6 months & have a PSA of 1.03 now, coming off Firmagon before that. Now the MO advises a 3 month break & then start Darolutamide tablets. Thanks for any input.

UPDATE: PSA doubled, MO has had little input
first off I just wanted to say thank you so much for everyone who responded to my previous post. For someone who is an inexperienced and worried daughter, I really appreciated everyone’s perspective. If you don’t recall, my dad’s PSA had gone up from 1.66 to 3.44 in about 2 months. His testosterone

Exercise and PMR
Before all the spinal
fractures
and bursitis and PMR etc I was reasonably fit, but not athletic and I did a 1.5 hour weekly Hatha yoga class. Even earlier this year I could do an occasional 6-7 mile coastal walk.

Started Xtandi
Hello everyone, After almost 3.5 years, my PSA has gone down (from 577 to 4.23), and now it has started to go up again (9.5). So the Firmagon, Docetaxel and Radiation seemed to do a decent job. Now I've started Xtandi and after 3.5 weeks, a new low of 3.53! Doctor was very encouraged to see such

Xtandi and accelerated vision decline
I sent my MO a message the other day about all the SE's of Xtandi up to this point because it is really hitting me harder each day. A recent reference to just feeling like staring at wall is appropriate. So I mentioned decline of eyesight and that I would check the literature about what else I am experiencing

5/25 update on Zytiga failed
To review, after 19 months on Lupron, Zytiga, prednisone, PSA increased on 1/23 to 0.253, then 0.309 on 2/21. Plarify scan showed only one active site in hip which was radiated. 4/4 PSA dropped to 0.24 which indicated the lesion was knocked out and I would be hormone sensitive and stay on Zytiga. Yea
