She asked about
fractures
- I’d broken my arm when I was about 26 - then asked what
fractures
my parents had had!! I just said, none that I know of! She then started on calcium intake. She used a questionnaire on Google to calculate this and couldn’t fault my diet.

Restless Leg Syndrome
The pain in my legs has now gone during the day but at night I get about 2-3 hours of restful sleep (if I'm lucky) and then the pain

my sleep into small periods. When I take CBD I get about 4 hours of sleep. Either way, this is not enough sleep to keep me going in the long run.

Pluvicto works but at what cost
70 yo with Stage 4, multiple bone mets, on Orgovyx daily and Xgeva every 3 months. DaVinci in past. Previously on Firmagon, Xtandi worked for awhile, nothing with Xofigo and a few rounds of Jevtana didn’t help and caused problems, also had localized XRT - but had to have chemo to qualify for Pluvicto

Confused about acquired adrenal insufficiecy
He also muttered about hydrocortisone when I said that the steroids had caused me a few problems, reflux and osteoporosis +
fractures
. At the end of 10 minutes he just said goodbye and hung up! So is 5mg too much, should I tackle the rheumy helpline or just wait till november?

Prolio SE
I have osteopenia but VERY close to osteoporosis (t=-2.4 last December and started Orgovyx at that time). Surprisingly, BCBS did approve the drug. I'll be scheduling it soon. Two questions: 1) The SE are VERY SCARY when I read this: https://www.drugs.com/comments/denosumab/prolia.html But, then again

Value of LDH
I've been dealing with PCA 11 years and I've seen a number of doctors along the way but never have discussed or had my LDH tested. A young oncologist where I had my PSMA scan requested PSA, testosterone and LDH tests to go along with the scan. My LDH was at the low end of the "range" (but we still didn't

Guilty or not ???
Today, after a few days of increasing pain in my neck, started on left side on Wednesday this morning also right side, I have taken extra 5mg Pred without consulting my GP who has previously indicated he was happy for me to manage my medication. For about 4 weeks now I have managed with 6mg Pred, so

Running out of road....
... I've got a consultation with my oncologist tomorrow. I've huge respect for him - he's been with me throughout this 'journey' from initial diagnosis 14 yrs ago. But, he tends to follow SOC (although will support me in straying from the path. I'd welcome some suggestions before I talk to him. My situation

So I get an xray which shows osteoporosis of the spine with 2 old
fractures
. Whilst getting the results via GP, I explained that I thought with all the slouching because of back pain that I might have an ulcer.

My gp sent me to A&E to rule out
fractures
of the spine or pelvis. Scan was clear, so sent home. over the weeks the pain has intensified and goes all the way from mid shin to my hip. I had an urgent mri on Sunday, and returned to A&E today for the resits.

calcium citrate with no artificial sugars
A minor question I hope you don’t mind. I’ve just read ‘Ultra Processed People’ book about additives in our diet. Eye opening and shocking to say the least! My calcium prescribed tablets have multiple artificial sugars which I want to avoid. Can anyone recommend a make that doesn’t have them? Preferably

worst fears seem to be coming true.
Dear friends, I posted on here in March 2021 asking your advice as to whether I should even start on Teriparatide worrying about rebound
fractures
afterwards because I was told there was no other drug that I could safely take.

Turned down by the RHN
I recently emailed the admissions office at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability in Wandsworth, London to see if I met their criteria for referral as, over four years after my ABI, I have received no rehabilitation. The RHN is not an NHS hospital so it has the freedom to pick and choose who it treats
