Pain specialist put me on targin
Saw pain specialist, he has put me on targin 10mg twice a day and taken me off buprenorphine.....I do hope this stops or eases the electric tugging pain I have in right leg behind knee , calf, and front and back of thigh. It drives me insane......it seems to build up and then my leg will jerk......nearly

Question for my father
My inclination is for him to take the treatment in hopes of guarding against debilitating
fractures
and reducing pain. Very appreciative for any advice or feedback.

After 2 Nuclear Ligand treatments should I still have severe bone pain in my lower back?
He has now had 2 nuclear Ligand treatments but still often has severe bone pain (he was diagnosed with stress
fractures
in his T12 and T9 just prior to his first Ligand treatment in Austria. He is due for his 2nd bone hardening treatment tomorrow plus bloodwork.

Limited Scleroderma, Autoimmune issues, thymoma, metal implants in joints
Both
fractures
were clean breaks but unfortunately both failed after two weeks necessitating steel wires and pins in my kneecap, and a titanium plate on my radius. Both
fractures
healed well over the next couple of months, and I was wearing a brace 24hrs a day for 10wks to help with stability.

67 year old male with severe Osteoporosis from long term use of Nexium.
With these
fractures
, the nerves being pinched can be so painful. Over these three years I have lost three inches of height. After my initial
fractures
, I found out that men over 50 should not be on Nexium long term, as it robs your spine of calcium, causing osteoporosis.

Broken arm while tapering Pred
On Friday last week I fell badly and broke my left arm - the humerus sheared off the ball joint and there are a couple of other
fractures
as well. I had surgery to fix the
fractures
. I told every doctor I saw about being on Pred, knowing that I could have an adrenal deficit.

A newbie question about vitamin D3
Before discovering compression
fractures
due to osteoporosis, I was taking various vitamin supplements. ( this is going to sound like I’m a hypochondriac, but I was trying to stay healthy). I had Garlic tablets, Glucosamine& Chondroitin, vit B, vit D3 and zinc.

Freiberg's disease?
I started with pain in my right foot last December, associated with stiffness and itching about halfway up the foot, all causing me to limp. It feels for all the world as if there's a group of bones all bunched together which I feel like hitting with a hammer to get them back in place- I said this to

CONCUSSION - HELP - ADVICE PLEASE
I went to A&E 4 days later - the CT scan showed no bleeds,
fractures
etc. Doctor sent me home and said just take paracetamol. It's been 7 days now and I still have this raging headache, pressure and now ringing in my ears. Not sure what to do or what to expect.

8/4/23 Update questions for MO
To review, after 19 months on Lupron, Zytiga, prednisone, PSA increased on 1/23 to 0.253, then 0.309 on 2/21. Plarify scan showed only one active site in hip which was radiated. 4/4 PSA dropped to 0.24 which indicated the lesion was knocked out and I would be hormone sensitive and stay on Zytiga. Yea
