latest DEXA scan
Just had my 7 year anniversary of my PMR diagnosis. The last couple years have gone well with a couple minor flares but I've been at 1 mg and in a holding pattern for a few months until seen by Rheumy #5 in another week, another one I've never talked to before. I did have a DEXA scan in the first

Zytiga after failing nubeqa ?
Has anyone had any luck with Zytiga after nubeqa fails to hold down PSA? I have been mCRPC for a few years now and Im curious if there is any chance Zytiga would work after the combination of Orgovyx/Nubeqa failed. I had some good results years ago when I was still nmCRPC with Firmagon/Xtandi, but had

osteoporosis advice please.
My consultant is sending me for an MRI of my spine for
fractures
or disc issues. Also my posture has changed and I'm very stooped. I'm worried it could be the osteoporosis and I could be left like this. Any info or advice gratefully received

Back brace to help with compression fracture.
I have a painful compression fracture on my T10 vertebrae after SBRT radiation on my prostate cancer tumour there. My oncologist has recently doubled my fentanyl patch dosage to 25 um/h, but the pain still remains, especially when I get up in the morning. I spoke to her today about getting a back brace

Forteo input (good or bad)
I am still having
fractures
while on Prolia shots, so they want me to "upgrade" to Evenity or Forteo. I have a fair amount of input on Evenity, but none on Foreo. Any input would be appreciated.

I haven't posted for a while....
I've now had 5 (confirmed by xray) and probably 7 spontaneous rib
fractures
over the past 3 months. I have been reviewed by the Prof. who still believes that I am on the correct treatment of Zoledronic Acid infusions.

EGGS, I think I’m shopping for an answer
Just a few tiny
fractures
here and there. I’m ok though. Love my new nephrologist and my daughter in law is a natural dr. I’m on whole plant per her advice. Nephrologist approved. Lost 14 pounds and my sugar dropped from 142 in Dec to 91.

Orchiectomy
I have metastatic cp to the bone. I have been on Lupron Xtandi and Hi dose Vitamin C for the last 19 months my current PSA is <0.1 and has been for the last 6 months. I am 83 years old and am in reasonable good health, other than pc. I have read that having an orchiectomy would yield longer life. Also

Hello,I had a hemiarthroplasty in July this year and now have had groin pain for 3weeks. Does anyone have any advice/solutions on how to deal with this? Xray came back clear - no problems flagged. Thank you for reading this.

TRT Causing Breast Enlargement
Has anyone on this site experienced breast enlargement while on TRT? Just curious as to how common this is. Am considering it because two years after ADT. (18 months Lupron and Bicalutamide) my T level is 66, PSA .28.

1, 3 or 6 month ADT?
Originally, after a prostatectomy and 40 radiation treatments, I had a one month shot of Lupron followed by a six month shot of Lupron. My PSA went to undetectable. Seven years later my PSA crept up to seven and I was put on a monthly shot of Firmagon for life. My PSA is again undetectable and all scans

Biphosphonates Questions
My fear is having a weaker spine with Biphosphonates and thus
fractures
. I’m reading lots of books too, but don’t see Dexa numbers matched with starting medicine. Are my numbers really bad? Would love to hear your honest opinions…

Acetylcysteine
I have recently been prescribed oral acetylcysteine as a mucolytic. Does anyone have any experience with this? I am unsure how having a greater volume of mucus to cough up will help me, and the drug information leaflet says it should not be used with bronchial asthma as it can cause bronchospasms

Feeling a bit like a train wreck !!
Hi everyone, so just a quick one. Wonder if anyone else feels a bit like me ?? I'm really struggling to get motivated at the moment. It's not helping when it's dark, cold and wet in the evenings. I love running, but time with everything (work, homelife, general everything life) is just flying by
