Just found the PRDA!
But bowel issues have been challenging as well as pelvic insufficiency
fractures
. I struggle to achieve balance and quality of life. Each doctor that I see offers a suggestion, but I get the feeling that I’m mostly on my own, as they’ve done their jobs and I’m still alive.

Brain lesion
anybody here who experienced brain lesions that might be from PCa? Current PSA is 0.025. It’s just confusing that after ADT works to remove all the symptoms including bone pain from bone mets, my dad was diagnosed with brain lesion after an MRI since he had mild stroke symptoms(slurred speech). Does

do fractures heal while on prolia ?
my Mum had a scan for possible fracture, had a scheduled dose of prolia, then at endo appointment, endo said she has a compression fracture. every day i find i have another question about this wretched drug, i probably should've called endo before the shot, but his instructions weren't specific.

Zoledronic acid plus teriparatide
My wife is about to go onto treatment for fairly severe osteoporosis after a fall involving
fractures
to 3 lumbar vertebrae. According to a letter from her consultant to her GP, the consultant seemingly wants her to go onto zoledronic acid plus teriparatide.

Possible Adrenal Insuffiency
I now have two compression
fractures
in my spine and multilevel degeneration, so I’m trying again to reduce using Dorset Lady’s simple reduction over five weeks - that’s 0.5mg over five weeks and I’m seven weeks in so another three weeks to go until I’m down to 4mg.

Total Hip Replacement Decision
Those of us with MPN's are at increased risk of vertebrae and hip
fractures
, YIKES! In discussions with my Oncologist, he indicated since we have a bone marrow disease, there may exist an inherent susceptibility or weakness in our bones.

Dexa results
I have just received my dexa results after a year on Prednisolone and Risedronate. Lumber spine is normal, but left hip and left neck of femur ( they only scanned the left) show Osteopenia. I understand what T scores and Z scores are, but I got three figures for each site, and I wondered if anyone knows

Has anyone had an experience of not having bone fractures while having osteoporosis?
Hi everyone, my question is whether any of you have had the luck of not having bone
fractures
with osteoporosis. Is it possible at all? And if yes what is the secret?

Radiation after triple therapy?
My thought is to use RT to control metastasis and prevent future
fractures
. Is this a good time in my treatment to begin RT? Thoughts on other therapies or approaches? Thanks for your responses! This site has been a God send.

What do you think?
I’ve been on Lupron and Xgeva since 2014 and have had many other treatments along the way. As my PSA rose I found my best treatment was Xtandi. I had pretty good results from 2017 to 2020 , then my PSA moved upward again. Looks like I’m going to fail with Nubeqa, which I have been on for 2 1/2 months

Improvement in bone density
At that time I was advised by a physiotherapist not to take up running as I would risk developing micro
fractures
in the bones which could lead to more serious
fractures
later on.
