Flu after surgery
Recovery has been going well, however I've woke up with the summer cold/
flu
. As a result I am getting multiple heart palpitations, is this normal? Or not so with having the closure? Any advice welcome.

Vaccination question
Had my
flu
and COVID boosters on Tuesday. Felt fine yesterday morning other than two sore arms. But when I started running I had no energy at all and ended cutting it short and walking home. I do hope it’s the effect of the boosters. Anyone else got any experience of this?

Lipase blood test .
I had both Covid and
flu
jabs yesterday I usually split them. Feeling grotty first time ever and have had 7 over time being immunosuppressed. Today I'm due a fasting Lipase test. Is it wise to have it or should I wait.

Is it safe for me to have
Flu
and Covid booster at the same time as NHS want me to, or should I ask to have them at different times?

Picking up after sickness
I had completed up to week 6 run 2 when I fell ill with the
flu
and a bacterial infection. I have felt well for the past 4 to 5 days and have my appetite and energy back (and have also returned to work in the last 3 days).

Covid, Flu and RSV vaccines
Is it best to space out the
flu
and RSV vaccines or receive them the same day? I am still in active surveillance but I know that my antibody production from previous Covid vaccines has not been great.

Methotrexate cough
I've now connected it to MTX as the cough goes when I stop MTX for covid and
flu
injections. Anyone else had this?I've contacted the doctor who is now writing to the RA team as they've dismissed this possibility up to now.

Nrc 10k plan round 2
I decided that it would be best to go right back to the beginning with the nrc 10k plan after nearly three weeks off and the worst
flu
/cold I've had in years. So I did the 14 minutes run with coach Bennett at such a slow and gentle pace I could have been walking.

Chronic cough?
No cold no
flu
no covid. Just a cough. Rarely is it productive. I have been to lung specialist and I fail some breathing tests, but I always have. They gave me an inhaler that does nothing. Breathing is fine. 6 months ago doctor gave me a -Z pack.

Retuximab and jabs
I'm due the first shingrix vaccine this week at GP surgery and was considering having the
flu
vaccine at the same time while I'm there. Its too late to ring my rheumatology helpline so I'm wondering if anyone on retuximab has had two jabs the same day, different arms. Thanks.

Catching a cold when you have fibro - turns out it’s COVID fml
I always say I’m a woman who gets man
flu
. My partner went to work right through his cold even though he felt quite rough. I just got up to make a drink and dragging my body round was so exhausting.

PMR for 10 years
, Last week I got my annual
flu
jab, and within2 days, I was rocking some wicked pain in my shoulders, hips, and wrists. ( This is not new, it happens every time I get a
flu
vaccine or Covid jab., and whenever I rock my little boat with outside stress, change medications, etc.)

Blood test
Had both Covid and
flu
jabs yesterday. Lipase blood test due today. I've been searching to see if it's wise. Leave it 48 hours is all I can see after a long search. Any advice if you've been in that position. I didn't do my weekly Benipali jab yesterday .

Niraparib and vaccinations
I’ve got a
flu
vaccination booked for this Saturday and a Covid vaccination booked for Monday. I’m now a bit unsure if I should have them this close together or leave a gap in between each. Has anyone got experience with this? ☺️
