What dose of Flecainide were others given for chemical cardioversion?
The Registrar contacted my Dr and the covering cardiologist for the practice advised 100 mg
Flecainide
and 12.5 Metoprolol. Then my Cardiologist rang back and said 300mg
Flecainide
and 25mg Metoprolol. After about 2 hours I suddenly felt very weak and dizzy and the cardiac monitor alarmed.

Today's visit with my EP
I'd had an episode this morning, but 100
Flecainide
+Arnica cleaned it up nicely. I notice as much about myself in these visits and how I relate to AF as I learn about next steps. His style is a friendly sort of "sparring," which I see as his attempt to get to the bottom of what's going on.

A strange episode
This morning the episode started at 7:30 and lasted 8 hours, and this was after taking 150 mg of
Flecainide
in total for PIP. My HR was unusually elevated for a few hours, up to 115-125 with really no exertion.

St Thomas’ appointment today
I can stop
Flecainide
and start to decrease Bisoprolol. They hope this will sort out the breathlessness. Also a chest physician referral. They’ll see me again in 3 months.

Flecanide on its own?
I have been taking
Flecainide
on its own for the previous 8 months. Having tried nearly every beta blocker or calcium channel blocker with no success,as they all have had such adverse side effects. On Monday I saw a different cardiologist for a second opinion on my treatment.

Spiritual practice to overcome anxiety
I currently take
flecainide
, Coreg, and aspirin to keep things under control. But I am hoping with some lifestyle changes to eventually be off medications entirely.

Varying my daily dose of Flecainide
I finally gave
Flecainide
a chance in June, and boy am I gald I did! I started with 100 mg/day, and still had slight AF the first few weeks, so I increased my daily dose to 150 mg at the beginning of July, and I have almost been AF-free since about mid-August!!!

Svt’s and Afib
I have had multaq, tioksen, amiodarone,
flecainide
. I now am on metropolol, fosinopril, and eliquis. I have read on this site where people are on bisoroil and soidoil? My cardiologist is taking the conservative approach. Says the Eliquis is the best defense.

October update
So I decided to ditch all the herbal formulations and give 50 mg
Flecainide
2X daily a try, on the advice of my EP. I felt great for a couple of days, but then had scary hallucinations. I've tried going back to Pill-in-Pocket, which is working fine.

Flecainide....weight gain?
I have been on
flecainide
, and bisoprolol for a few years. Do any of you that are on
flecainide
gain weight with this med? I feel if I didn,t eat at all I would still gain weight.. frustrating. I feel it also gives me phlegm and a cough that disturbed people around me.

Nausea & Flecainide
I take
Flecainide
daily and have done for decades. For Monday’s short episode of AF I took extra
Flecainide
to stabilise my heart rhythm. After seeking answers to why I keep getting this nausea I am wondering if there is an outside chance that the source of my problem might just be
