Migraine
My GP checked me out and diagnosed migraine (nothing more sinister I was happy to find) but struggled with suitable medication that won't interfere with my usual Rivoxaban, Bisoprolol and
Flecainide

I was at the ER a couple of days ago with tachycardia that lasted almost four hours. 100ml of
Flecainide
didn't stop it so they did a chemical cardioversion and it stopped it straight away.

Does Flecainide reduce your Magnesium levels
This issue may be important to some as I suspect many are on
Flecainide
but don't take Mg supplement, which could explain why for some
Flecainide
only seems to work for a time because the Flec whilst dealing with the immediate AF problem could actually at the same time be reducing Mg and building a requirement

Ectopic beats
They stopped the
flecainide
I had been on for years and put me on 100mg Atenolol. This slowed by hear rate to about 50. In the last week or so I have had constant ventricular ectopic. I have suffered with them since 1980. I have a drink problem and have not touched a drop in 7 weeks.

New to the site and would like experiences of anticoagulants
I was on twice daily
flecainide
which seemed to be quite effective but recently the attacks have been coming much more frequently and for longer. I am a diet controlled diabetic as well. I have recently been told I need to go onto anticoagulants and have some information.

Beware of cold and flu remedies if you have AFIB
I had AFIB for several months and finally got back into sinus rhythm with the help of
Flecainide
....ok for nearly a year now. I picked up a bad cold last week and took Boots Ultra Cold and Flu relief (same ingredients as Lemsip etc).

Feeling a little lost 💔
So I was sent home with 50MG
flecainide
BD Verapamil 240mg SR daily And xarelto 20mg daily. Now I'm awaiting an ablation but the side effects of the meds are pretty much wiping me out, insomnia, nausea, tight chest. I've asked to reside the
flecainide
and I'm awaiting a call from my EP.

Will my ablation go ahead if I am in AF?
I have come off my usual twice daily dose of 100mg
flecainide
in preparation for my ablation, due to take place at St Tomas' this Friday and have gone into fast AF. Does anyone know if they will go ahead if I am still in AF on Friday? Many thanks

Ablation - all done and dusted 😁
Allowed to stop taking
Flecainide
(just keep in reserve as pip) but continue with bisoprolol for the next few months. Already back on my rivaroxaban.

Flecainide
I have been taking
Flecainide
for about 30 years, gradually ramping up the dosage from an initial 50mg to now I'm at 300mg daily and believe it's now becoming ineffective. However, I have experienced no side effects whatsoever and for me it's been the "perfect " drug.

Switching meds
My EP (who prescribed it and the
Flecainide
) can't get me in for 3+ weeks, the cardiologist for 2+ weeks (and he won't mess with meds he didn't prescribe). I can't see myself waiting on this, I feel like I'm dying half the time.

Flecainide
can also induce asthma? Anyone have any experience with Betapsce or Tambocor? He has used Amiodarone in the past but had thyroid issues... Thanks for any suggestions, very glad I found this site

Ibuprofen etc
Recently came off beta blocker and
flecainide
for agin. I continue with anti coagulant, apixaban. I think I remember being told not to take neurofen, ibuprofen etc whilst on the meds. Which meds would that have been and can I take them now! Thanks in advance.

Worried
I've been on
Flecainide
in the past and that worked for a while but was taken off it. I'm on Verapamill 240mg and Ramiprill. Has anyone experienced this ? what shall I expect. Any advise would be very welcome. Thanks

Flecainide got a big eye roll from a local Dr. at a clinic..
I have been taking
Flecainide
for 18 years and have had no side affects... However when I went to a local clinic for a urinary tract infection the Dr. made a serious face when I mentioned
Flecainide
and said it is not a good thing to be on that drug for so long....

Can we have more than one attack of AF in the same day.
I stayed calm took my pill in the pocket 200mg of
flecainide
. One hour later. As recommended by Cardiolgist. I took a further 50mg flec. Knowing i could even take 100mg but thats the maximum for the day. One hour later and i was back in sinus mode.
