Irregular Heartbeat
I came to bed but couldn’t sleep, took a
flecainide
pill about half hour later and managed to fall asleep. Just woke up and it’s still at it. I have to make notes of episodes to present to my doctor in two weeks and wonder what the next stage will entail. Surely this can’t go on forever?

TAMBOCOR
Is there are difference between Tambocor and
Flecainide
. Do they both work the same. Is Tambocor jut a brand name for
Flecainide
. My chemist often gives me different brands. Some just say
Flecainide

Tachycardia following Afib Ablation
Has the Tachycardia gone / been suppressed because of the
Flecainide
/ Bisoprolol combination or was the Tachycardia I experienced a temporary thing as a result of the healing process from the first ablation? Why would the
Flecainide
help with Tachycardia anyway? Isnt it a rhythmic drug.

Pace and ablate
My cardiologist has run through the gambit of meds (my current one is
Flecainide
30mg and metoprolol 50mg) with all of them failing to control the afib. I also have a failed catheter abation under my belt.

Dental appointment, adrenaline-free jabs and AF
I had
flecainide
with me in the car but no liquid to aid swallowing (another lesson learned) so a pip was not possible. My dentist is highly qualified, a "Dr" and she understands AF. Warfarin and Pradaxa have not fazed her.

Hello New to the Community
Hoping to get a prescription for
flecainide
as a PIP approach however I am already on Bisoporol 2.5mg daily So was thinking to get off the Bisoporol and just have the
Flecainide
. Just wanted some advice so I can talk knowledgably to my GP.

Svt and ablation
I was referred to an EP and he prescribed me
flecainide
and advised me to take it with the beta blocker. He also recommended an ablation which I have scheduled in a week. I guess my question is how many of you all have had successful ablations?

New meds
My cardiologist has just put me on
Flecainide
75mg and Metoprolol 25mg twice daily as well as Physiotens 200mcg ( Monoxidine ) once daily. Hopefully they will stop my rapid AF episodes.

I have been taking low dosage of
flecainide
and it seems to let me exercise, its weird because the metropol wont let me exercise, yet the
flecainide
does. I take both of these pills at a very low dosage.

Second Catheter Ablation
I was told to stop
Flecainide
. After the first month, I reduced the dose gradually, taking 50mg in the morning and omitting the nightly tab for a few days, last Monday I stopped it all together.

Because of side effects I'm trying to reduce my
Flecainide
to use as a pill-in-the-pocket , but often am not certain if what I'm experiencing is a paroxysmal afib episode or "harmless" (but unpleasant) ectopics.

Totally fatigued
I was already on
flecainide
. Now I am utterly totally exhausted all the time. I am scheduled for an ablation 2 November. I feel I will be so weak and wilted that I won't be able to cope with it and the recovery period. Spoke with EP yesterday; he said take digoxin alternate days should help.

Change of Meds
I have just had my meds changed from
Flecainide
to Adizem my paroxysmal has changed to persistent and I now need a rate control. I have felt quite agitated and wondered if it was the adizem or the withdrawal from the
flecainide
I have been on it about 15years.

confusion
My GP has suggested taking an extra
Flecainide
in the evenings and is organising a 24 hour ECG. My AF episodes used to start and stop over several hours, but this pausing heart beat seems to be an every day and night thing now. Is this persistent AF?

Flecainide for PAC's
My doctor recently prescribed
Flecainide
for palpitations and PAC's which last for hours upon hours. My question is, does it take awhile for the
Flecainide
to start working? This is my second day and last night I had an episode which lastest for six hours.

Salbutomol (beta agonist), beta blockers and flecainide
I take the salbutomol (asthma pump) only when I do exercise as i have exercise induced asthma and beta blockers and
flecainide
daily. I was on a different asthma med, but my pharmacy can't get supplies at the moment.
