Annual check up for AF patients?
I am well controlled with
Flecainide
, Bisoprolol and also Dabigatran, although my heart rate is around 37 during the night and around 53 in the day, rising to 95 when very active, briskly walking etc. So I feel OK, but I haven’t been offered an EP appointment, for 18 months now.

Suggestions anyone?
I am taking Cardizem, Eliquis,
Flecainide
and a statin! It is very frustrating at times! Any suggestions out there to improve memory, decrease frustration? BTW I am 52! I know I should feel lucky that it could have been worse but still.....

I hate to increase the dosage (as suggested by cardiologist).

The Cardiologist on the rounds that morning has recommended putting me on 50mg twice daily of
Flecainide
. I am just wondering if anybody around my age has had experience of taking
Flecainide
on a daily basis and how it has affected you?

Paroxismal Afib, diet and lifestyle
Plus I have cut my high blood pressure medication in half, and plan to ask my cardiologist to go for "pill in the pocket" for
Flecainide
(I do not know if it is reasonable for Eliquis).

3 months post ablation and AF free
I stopped taking
flecainide
immediately after the ablation. Saw my EP yesterday and he has told me I can also stop taking Bisoprolol. Hurrah to that! He said that the fact I haven’t had any AF in the last three months is a very good indicator of success.

In a bad place at the moment..
I've had
Flecainide
for a couple of years and that really helped a lot - used to get odd "flips" but nowhere near as bad as they used to be. Now though it all seems to be building up again. The last few days have been awful, today in particular.

Normal for post ablation?
EP has stopped
flecainide
and digoxin altogether. I have a checkup on Dec. 8 with EP. Does this sound like anyone else's experiences for cryoablation? It's hard to find solid information for normal happenings post ablation. Trying my best not to worry.

Woken by AF two nights in a Row
I'm on
flecainide
, bisoprolol and get bad attacks about once every 3 months. Not had this before, so I wanted to check before I head to my GP, and no doubt get issued the normal sick note, which I don't really want as I enjoy my job and work from home! I'm back to normal rhythm now.

Ectopics triggering Atrial Flutter?
I take 200mg
Flecainide
and small dose of Bisoprolol and the ectopics feel like big, strong PAC's. I've been able to return to NSR with a couple of Valsalva manoeuvres. Terrific fun at 3am. ☹️

Afib, flecainide and numbness-oh, and RA!
Not sure the
flecainide
is working for me. I know I am in afib when my chest gets "heavy" and my throat and eustation tubes hurt.
