(seeking some advice) PVC's, Flecainide, and possibly another ablation.
I've been instructed to STOP (not wean) the
flecainide
five days before the 30 of this month and be on the table for another ablation. Should I? I'm so scared of these things, but I'm also scared of being on the
flecainide
and I'm scared of the ablation.

Getting off Verapamil
I concluded 3 months more appropriate and decided to take 180 mg Verapamil sustained release once/day and 50mg
Flecainide
2x daily. 4 months post ablation I stopped
flecainide
50mg twice daily with no adverse effects. Been off
Flecainide
for 3 weeks.

A question about Flecainide
Following the consultant’s recommendation, I am now taking
Flecainide
(50 mg twice a day) to help maintain sinus. My question is: how dangerous is this drug?

Also the cardiologist is recommending
Flecainide
to try to deal with the ectopics as Bisoprolol hasn’t worked. Any experiences please? Many thanks 😊

StartedFlecainide yesterday. No changes yet Suggesting another Defib cardioversion so Flecainide might maintain NSR Anyone else similar ?
Started 50mg
Flecainide
BD yesterday. Higher from next week. They're saying another Cardioversion in Nov, so guess they're not expecting the
Flecainide
to put me back in NSR. Has anyone else had this treatment like this and it worked ? Temporary basis I guess while waiting for 2nd ablation.

Afib, Flecainide and exercise, again!
Has anyone else had such a transforming experience of
Flecainide
? I'm have been thinking there could be a placebo effect but now I think it's real. Side effects: Initially head aches and dizziness. Now, sleeplessness if taken too close to bedtime and some constipation.

With food? Empty stomach? Take all together with or without food?
., I take Pradaxa, an anticoagulant, and
Flecainide
, on an empty stomach. Twelve hours later at 11pm, I take another dose of
Flecainide
and Pradaxa (empty stomach).

Life with Ectopics - 20 years old
The
flecainide
was amazing in controlling my symptoms to begin with for the first few months, however the effect wore off and my ectopics came back just as bad. I tried increasing the
flecainide
dose, although the ectopics went crazy, so I went back to 50mg three times a day.

Raised Heart Rate on Flecainide within a week, still in Persistent AF, yet mid week looked like it was settling. Anyone else similar?
I am still in persistent AF, after a failed cardioversion 2 weeks ago, another booked for 16th Nov, idea being the
Flecainide
might help to hold it this time. Have missed this morning's dose in the hope that maybe for me this was too high a dose. Just read it has a 48hr half life.

Positive report on a medium dose of Flecainide over 8 years
It appears many are concerned about starting on
Flecainide
or staying on it even for the short term. So was I and still am!

When flecainide is given as a bonus intravenously. Is it always with dextrose?
Does anyone know if
flecainide
is given with anything else.I was given it with dextrose 2 days ago. I looked it up, it is made from corn starch. I am highly allergic. I became ill immediately and now can’t get out of bed.

How many people taking bisoprolol and flecainide for svt?
They have now included
flecainide
to try to help. Is anyone else on this medication for svt and does it/has it helped??? I'm hoping it does for me to save me having to go to a& e for the dreaded adenosine 😁

Rash From AFIB Medications
My Dr. wanted me to stay off Propafenone for 2 weeks or until the rash cleared up but my AFIB started acting up badly so I went on
Flecainide
. I have been on it for 3 weeks (plus Xarelto) and I still have the same rash. Has anyone had an issue with switching drugs and still having a rash.

AF after catching Pneumonia
I have been without an AF episode for 5 years then after a bout on pneumonia the AF returned and I went into A&E who advised me not to take my PIP of
Flecainide
as I had not had Echogram since 2013.

Covid booster side effects?
Previously I'd been in and out of AF until the right dose of
Flecainide
and Bisoprolol was reached, since then I've been totally stable in SR. I also played golf that morning and had sharp foot pains, but I was back in sinus rhythm at the end of the game.

PAF changing experiences
Cardiologist put me on
Flecainide
last year as a PIP. However, when I converted to NSR I would have a head rush and then a blackout so I was taken off them I was changed from 50x100mg Metroprolol to 7.5mg Bisoprolol. In the past while my resting heart rate has gone down to 46.

Tachycardia and PACS 14 months post ablation.
Hi, I have had a good run of 14 months post-ablation for PAF, now I am starting to have frequent bouts of tachycardia and PACS, my EP has told me to take 2.5mg nebivolol and 150mg
flecainide
when necessary, (he is not aware of recent frequency) as these are becoming more frequent I am wondering if I

Meds and ablation
Now can't tolerate
flecainide
and some other drugs. Had managed AF symptoms since then with diet and lifestyle/ no meds for about 14 years, but thats not cutting it any more sadly... I think since COVID. COVID jabs also exacerbated in short term.
