Best treatment for sudden ectopics?
and I use
flecainide
150 mg when I get an episode (it works in 2-4 hrs). But in recent weeks, I'm getting very, very frequent/too many PAC's. (If I SIT a little bit forward, it helps--weird.) As some have commented here, ectopics feel worse than afib!

Longer term side effects of flecainide and bisoprolol
I’ve been on both medications now for around 13 months now and they seem to be working well. Over the last number of months I’ve had itchy skin (my back particularly) and also what seems to be dry mouth. Has anyone experienced side effects that appear after being on the medication for I guess six months

Update on seeing Electrophysiologist - and fed up.
it was wonderful that bisop is controlling my Afib and I haven’t had an attack since Nov, despite me telling him all the side effects I get, (including severe tinnitus, breathlessness and sleep deprivation, even in a low dose😳) and suggested that if I did come off it and my Afib got worse, to take

3 days since PVI: is this normal?
Ive left a message with the arrythmia nurses - the Doctor reduced my meds after the procedure and i wondered whether its OK to reinstate an extra 50 mgs
flecainide
if I experience this again. Hoping someone has been through similar and come out the other side!

Flecainide and Bisoprolol as a PIP approach for Vagal Afib?
I also read however that
Flecainide
can cause irregular and potentially dangerous heart rhythms in the ventricles and you should combine a beta blocker with an anti rhythmic drug such as
Flecainide
?

Permanent AF?
I’m to stay on my meds,
flecainide
and bisoprolol and to go back if I get severe symptoms. They have said a resting heart rate of 130 is fine because I am haemodynamically stable. I am ( still ) on the waiting list for ablation, but these things take so long now.

Dry mouth
I’m on
flecainide
and bisoprolol for afib since Dec 2020. They both seem to be working fine and I don’t have the usual side effects that bisoprolol gives in terms of tiredness thankfully.

Still irregular pulse
Flecainide
isn't touching it and I'm not taking my bisporolol this morning as my pulse isn't fast. Do I just wait for it to sort itself out?Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you.

Timing of Flecainide Doses
Its usually prescribed as 2 times daily - what times of day do you take it - my episodes if they do arise are almost always at 3am - i find best taking mine at 6pm and 10 - would be interested to know other people's timings for Flec

POST ABLATION AND ALCOHOL
I texted my cardiologist who as always was wonderful and recommended the extra 50
Flecainide
to stop it which it duly did. Moral of the tale: Alcohol is OUT!

Ectopics, estrogen and covid boosters
Learned they were benign but was offered
flecainide
and atropolol if I wanted to try. That was a drug too many for me and I got cold feet. By this time I realised they were worse when I got indigestion and reflux, which had been an incessant problem for me since Sep 2020.

Lactoferrin and anticoagulants
I take Eliquis,
Flecainide
and Bisoprolol. In these times of Covid a GP suggested to my son, who has no PAF, to take Lactoferrin as a preventative. I would like to take it as well, but I cannot find information on interactions between Lactoferrin and anticoagulants.
