Taking Flecainide even when in Permanent Afib
To improve these results , I suggested to stop Nebilet and instead take 50 mg of
Flecainide
( Tambocor 50mg) in combo with dilzem. He agreed and said lets give it a try. Did any body with permanent Afib try
Flecainide
? Your experience will be very helpful. Thanks

Is there an anti arrhythmia drug which doesn't have a side effect of nausea?
I've tried amiodorane,
flecainide
, sotalol, verapamil and beta blockers. I feel that nobody is helping me because of the effect of the medication and am feeling really rough. I want my life back.

Flecainide on it’s own ?
My doctor said I can stop my beta blocker (bisoprolol) and just stay on
flecainide
…? I have been getting head rushes when ever I get out my car from sitting to standing and often see stars if I jump up or stand up quickly. I thought I read that you can’t take
flecainide
on it’s own?

Post-Ablation Afib Episode Causes?
I had my first cyro ablation in March after which I had a brief, 15-minute Afib episode and then a 4-hour and a 6-hour episode, all while off the
flecainide
which had kept episodes at bay for 10 months or more before the ablation. Now I am back on 100 mg.
flecainide
daily.

Ablation advice
I understand little except to tell the EP the fatigue on low-dose
Flecainide
and Bisoprosolol is more frequent though I feel better on it than off it!! My consult was 15 mins. I didn’t get to ask why ablation over BBs… and risks/benefits.

how long would you expect an ablation to be successful for.?
twice in last 2 months I've had a couple of hours of af and had to take
flecainide
to settle it. Both times were a few days after a long run. Half marathon ( not sure if it's exercise or menopause or just that it's been 8years since the ablation.

changing med for Afib
I was having a lot of lightheadedness and dizziness so my doctor Put me on only one atenolol pill and left me on 2
Flecainide
and also took me off of my blood pressure pill. This Seem to be a change as I have been on a blood pressure pill for many many years.

Lightheadedness With AF
I am also taking
Flecainide
twice a day. My cardiologist has mentioned maybe it is something else not related to AF. He has just stopped my blood pressure pill that I had been taken for 10 years.

Reducing to stop Flecainide and Bisoprolol
My EP said a while ago on 3mth review after my 2nd ablation he was OK with me stopping the
Flecainide
and Bisoprolol but I was more cautious. Asked to reduce after my walking holiday in Scotland.

Small Purple/Red Bruises
I’m on Rivaroxaban and
Flecainide
and I read somewhere they could be caused by blood thinners? Any info greatly received.

Flecainide and Bisoprolol
He advised me I have to have a pace maker and I'm to come off
Flecainide
and Bisoprolol immediately. I'm 24 weeks pregnant and I'm only 28 and to say I'm bricking it is an understatement! I'm just seeing if anyone has gone or is going through similar as I don't even know how to feel for it 🙈 x

Beta Blockers and Vagal Afib
My former EP had suggested he wanted to do beta blocker +
flecainide
- it's certainly seeming that was wrong for me.

Anxiety with Afib
I was in Resus overnight for thelast episode, had 3 different IV beta blockers, to no avail, and was finally given oral
Flecainide
, which worked after 40 minutes, and prevented cardioversion..

Can a combination of non-exceptional factors start an AF episode?
The solution for me has involved overcoming stress on all fronts, many corrections to lifestyle....and of cause some pills, in my case
Flecainide
. I have religiously followed every aspect for the last 8 years since formal diagnosis/treatment and all has been good.

A question about angiogram/ablation
I have had AF for at least 15 years, controlled by bisoprolol and increasing doses of
flecainide
. For reasons not quite clear to me I'm now booked in for an angiogram. My GP followed it up and tells me it's because I said I'd think about an ablation.
