Has anyone tried cabbage juice for heartburn?
I've tried omeprazole and
famotidine
for two months. Still had heartburn every day. I just bought a small juicer and drank a cup this morning and two cups tonight. I had no heartburn today. I'll keep this post updated with my progress. I was just wondering if anyone else has tried this?

He has been talking about giving me medication but says that Omeprazole and Lansoprazole aren't advised with mtx so is talking about a drug called
Famotidine
. Has anyone had similar issues or tried
Famotidine
? Appreciate any advice, thanks. Xx

How long do PPIs take to work?
I have acid reflux and I’ve been on
Famotidine
, Esomeprazole, each for 2 weeks, and now omeprazole for 6 weeks. Cut out all acidic and spicy food. I still have heartburn every day. I usually get it at around noon. How long do these PPIs take to work? Just wondering if they’re not even helping.

heartburn / Haitus hernia treatment
two endoscopies have showed nothing sinister, a 3cm hernia and mild gastritis (at separate points) I’ve been given omeperzole intermittently, where the symptoms always come back after treatment, the doctor has given me a 8 week course of
Famotidine
but I fear the same thing will happen.

Tapered off- but....
Well- I had them both, 2 weeks apart and no PMR flare 😄 BUT two things have happened: the acid reflux which started at the beginning of pred and took a long time to improve with
Famotidine
(not PPI!), began to return.

Silent reflux causing ongoing problems.
I currently take 30mg Lansoprazole twice a day and
famotidine
before bed. The GP said I'm on the highest dose of meds that she can prescribe. Has anyone else had an op for such a small hernia? If so, was it successful? Which op did you have?

MCAS, but possible Masto?
I take fexofenadine, montelukast,
famotidine
and quercetin at present for stabilisation. I have what looks like a petechial rash all over my abdomen, and on other areas of my body. I am concerned that it is TMEP or Masto.

Follow up to my last post about nausea & unable to eat.
They came with my
famotidine
(ant acid med) 2 hours after they brought me my breakfast, which I couldn't touch until 11.am and also my Pred at that time. My insulin didn't arrive until before lunch. Then they wanted to give me the wrong dose.

Antacids that don't aggravate RLS?
She wrote a script for
Famotidine
which i read now is another type of antacid (a H2Aa) which can also aggravate RLS. Has anyone used an antacid type medication (or similar) that hasn't aggravated their RLS?

Meds Review.
I have spoken to him before when he switched me from lansaprozole to
famotidine
. He even asked me how I was getting on with that yesterday.Went through all my issues which may be linked to my meds: tiredness, fatigue, flatulence, muscle aches and pains, weakness, etc. He asked loads of questions.

Low platelets
I am on apixaban 5mg twice daily and also
Famotidine
. My GP has said that apixaban can cause low platelets and I also found out that
Famotidine
can also. I am told to carry on both drugs and just have the recheck. I am now filled with anxiety, Has anyone else had this dilemma?
