Advice on Cataract surgery / narrow angle
Hi all, First I must apologise, I am new to Glaucoma and looking to get some guidance from ideally someone who may have had a similar experience. I am a 44 year old male who was diagnosed with narrow angles following a routine eye exam. My eyesight is pretty good and I only wear reading glasses occasionally

Hi, wondering what treatment people are having if they have uveitis and secondary glaucoma as result of this? I'm asthmatic so only one type of drop is suitable for me. Can't have drugs or SLT to bring pressure down. I heard GATT had successful outcomes but not sure if available outside of Birmingham

Bolts Brainwave Entrainment Protocol
So... on today's Zoom call I was asked to re-post the link to the 40 HZ brainwave entrainment audio file I created and have been using. So here it is, plus some info:
I apologize for going off of memory, but there are a number of reasons for using this audio file (or something like it or something

I often read the experiences on CLL shared by our group on HealthUnlocked, and it's reassuring. I was diagnosed with CLL in 2013. After a long period of watch and wait (W&W), I was given only 2 cycles of chemo (BR) in 2019 instead of the planned 6 cycles due to severe side effects. Fortunately, I experienced

DVLA Esterman test
I am 73 and as my licence was coming up for renewal I received a letter from the DVLA to apply for a new one. In the letter it stated that I could simply complete the online questionaire or, if I had any of the listed conditions (one being Glaucoma) I should complete the form and return it to them

Post Preserflo implant
I recently had a Preserflo implant and have been applying the steroid and antibiotic drops. Is it okay to use dry eye drops as well? The eye is itchy and it could do with some extra lubrication.

Normal pressure glaucoma -having a rant
I’ve just recently been diagnosed with normal pressure glaucoma. I’ve always been very short sighted so Ive always had regular eye checks from a contact lens optician and a different specs optician. I go to the same place every year. About 18months ago my contact lens optician said that the thinning

Photosensitivity, eye pain and headache.
I have been photosensitive for about three years now but this year I seem to be struggling with quite intense eye pain and subsequent headache (around the forehead) when outside. The headache goes upon going into deep shade or into the house. I do however, find myself squinting even in the home. I do

Nafarelin/Synarel down reg - when did you get period?
Hi I'm currently doing the above nasal spray for my down regulation as I was told there is a nationwide shortage of buserelin which I used in my first cycle. I started on Saturday 4th May and was told I should get a period in around a week but still no period or signs of it. Has anyone done the same

Eye surgery
my doctor told me he wants to do surgery on my eye to straighten out a crease on the retina membrane. At the same time he said he will do a procedure that might eliminate the need for the injections I’ve been having for AMD. is anyone familiar with this?

Posterior vitreous detachment
I had an unexpected issue in the last few days which started with large black flashes then the following day black ‘squiggles’ - went to Eye AandE and they said nothing to do with my normal tension glaucoma and I will have to live with this annoying condition which is very distracting. Has anyone else

Prednisone vs Acterma with steroid induced diabetes. Really terrified
Update: April 2024 was scheduled for eye surgery for Strabismus which was canceled days before when in the same week I was determined by my Endocrinologist to have steroid induced diabetes which makes the general anesthesia too risky at this point. Rescheduled for August tentatively while we work on
