Study to help patients manage their underactive thyroid
Just saw this and thought both that it is interesting it is being done. And, secondly, wondered if any would be willing to take part. I've scan read the information about the study and it appears that there is no geographical limit (please reply to let me know if I am wrong!) - just that you need to

Treatment resistant psychosis
Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone here has had treatment resistant psychosis and has had to take clozapine or have ect treatment? I'm still struggling with a couple of delusions and was hoping to hear some success stories from others.

If these were your results what would you do?
So despite increasing my T3 dose my FT3 is staying at 5. My FT4 is falling. My symptoms are mostly in check these days but the fatigue and malaise is creeping higher again and it's starting to inhibit what I can do. (Noting that my estrogen is below range and I'm hoping to start HRT soon.) I'm sporadic

Group Therapy #2
So i went to my second group therapy. It went well, know seemed to be paying much attention to my body language (like I'm afraid of) no one seemed to see me see them carrying on and being themselves. (hyper focusing on them). But the one thing I cant stop from happening is hearing background sounds such

Still fighting for a diagnosis B12, PA
Due to my ongoing failing health I've had to do my own research as to the pathway of blood test results, symptoms and the progression/knock on effects of having doctors who refuse to help. Update on me
Before I go to visit Ralph this morning, thought I'd write a bit about me. I rang this morning to see how his first night was, he'd vomited a little which she said was due to the stress of the move, but then he was fine and slept well. Last night was the first decent sleep I've had since his operation

Persistent AF, Diltiazem, side effects or Menopause??
I apologise in advance for what will be quite a lengthy post.... :( I was diagnosed with persistent a year ago Oct 22, but likely I had it unknowingly for about 2 years prior and put breathlessness and tiredness to work/being unfit. I am 57. During that 12 months I was on Bisoprolol for 9 months and

Tips for knee pain at 68
Hi everyone, I'm Lyndon. I Woke up Saturday morning with a horrible surprise - knee pain. It's centered on the front left side of my right knee, a dull ache that's been keeping me up at night and making it tough to move around. At 68, I've had my fair share of aches and pains, but this is new territory

Where to buy prescription drugs?
Hi! Maybe a bit of a silly question, but I'll have to buy some progesteron oral tablets, pessaries, duphaston, estrogen etc. in the UK and I just want to check if that would be available in any pharmacy or do I need a specialist one? Im doing my IVF abroad and I usually buy all my tablets at my clinic

Seyfried press-pulse metabolic strategy for aggressive advanced prostate cancer
I'm writing on behalf of my brother who was diagnosed one year ago with stage four prostate cancer metastasized to the bones. His oncologist initially started him on anti-androgens and radiation with some positive initial results. In the past couple of months his numbers are going in the wrong direction
