Estriol ? How Quick ? Make a difference - Progesterone . BHRT - Menopause
Hi All... Currently changed my BHRT cream to 0.75 mg Estriol and 20 mg Progesterone per day.... after feeling like crap... think due to higher progesterone... Does anyone know how long I should continue before seeing a difference ? Should I have a break from Estriol every 5 days for 2 days like I do

Is there a protective role of testosterone against high-grade prostate cancer?
My view is that
estradiol
[E2] needs to be monitored too. We need to avoid an estrogen-dominant E2:T ratio, IMO. & Arimidex, which inhibits T to E2 conversion should be considered.

Prostate Cancer & Hormones - Estrogen [2] - Discovery of ERbeta.
In my earlier post, I argued that
estradiol
[E2] & testosterone [T] seem to pull in different directions, & that an E2:T imbalance in men has been noted in a number of diseases. [1] Estrogen Receptors. The importance of the androgen receptor [AR] in PCa therapy is well known.

Prostate Cancer & Hormones
One might expect the first to be on testosterone - or even
estradiol
- but I will begin with prolactin, since there is a new study. Look for: "Prostate Cancer & Hormones - Prolactin". Suggestions as to other hormones to cover would be welcomed. -Patrick

FSH Levels and Oestradiol level
Hi, looking back at some past blood test results. Have been suffering from severe anxiety for a few years now. My FSH at the time of the test was 7 U/L. My serum oestradiol level was 1777 pmol/L. I was told all was well, at the time of blood test my anxiety (OCD) was at it's worst. I was also

Hormone blood tests
I am thinking of getting a blood test for hormones but the ones I have found do not include progesterone, would this be an issue or does anyone know of a place offers this, preferably a finger-prick test. Medichecks only seem to test FSH, LS, Oestradiol and Prolactin. My breasts have become swollen

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Chrysin
It is an aromatase inhbitor & can therefore reduce the conversion of testosterone to
estradiol
. Although Wikipedia [1] cites studies that found it to be ineffective, I can vouch for it, when taken with Bioperine (piperine).

Latest results. High cholesterol at 25 and possible PCOS? Help please :)
Hi I've had some results recently and was just hoping for some advice on a few things that are concerning me. After the first 2 test results my gp said once my b12, folate and vit d had been treated we could trial levo if still symptomatic. In all honesty I don't really feel much different. However

Hi does anyone mind having a quick look over my latest results please? Particularly anyone with knowledge of PCOS which they've flagged up as a possibility due to a raised hormone. However they've assumed I have a 28 day cycle which I never have. It's normally around 34 days I think but it's been really

Cerazette and Estradiol
He has put me on 2mg of
Estradiol
as my estrogen levels are extremely low. This is most likely because i've been taking cerazette for years to suppress my periods to control the endometriosis. So yes, crazily I am taking a medication to suppress estrogen and then replacing it with estrogen!

Labs-ready for comments and your wisdom
I work with a great gyno who is giving me supplements, managing the NT,
estradiol
and progesterone. My endo deferred to my gyno to manage the thyroid issues since gyno is well respected in these areas. I see her again this Tuesday and hope to bring your comments to my appointment.

Restless Legs Abating after Estradiol Rx Expired
After realizing that I was sleeping through the night quite comfortably, and not having the agonizing leg cramps, burning, pulling and discomfort of the RLS, I looked up
Estradiol
to see if there was an information about RLS and
Estradiol
. Look it up. Feeling better, now & hoping it will continue.
