PD Dialysis - Week 6 - Houston we have a problem
He told me that he would not give me the
epidural
in my current state, and after listening, he said he didn't think that an
epidural
would do my situation any good. That I need to speak with my nephrologist about the situation.

Anyone had successful RFA after failed back injections?
I recently had a lumbar medial branch block and caudal
epidural
but this seemed to just cause a nerve flare-up. Am going ahead with RFA as not sure what else to do!! Main problems are sitting due to pain in buttocks/sit bones/glutes and standing as that then triggers backache.

Post 45 natural birth or c-section
The thought of an
epidural
needle In my back is also really scary. I reckon I would be ok dealing with it if I was already in pain through contractions… then back to wanting to avoid an emergency situation or induction.

Postpartum tinnitus
After induction, we tried natural labor with
epidural
and after 18h they decided for a c section, since I developed severe pre-eclampsia and couldn’t push more.

Endo or Proctalgia fugax?
I have a very high pain threshold (had children without
epidural
and was fine) but this is something else. My symptoms don’t match so well with endo or Proctalgia so I’m wondering what is wrong with me…

Caudal Epidural
Has anyone gotten relief from Caudal
Epidural
? I did get relief by receiving two sets of botulism in five trunk muscles. Had two MRIs one of lumbar and one of pelvis. All they saw was enlarged sciatic nerve at Ischeal Tuberosity.

HAS ANYONE HAD SEVERE RLS EPISODES OCCURRING WHILE UNDER SEDATION DURING MEDICAL PROCEDURE?
In the past 10 or more years I have needed occasional
Epidural
injections under sedation due to a spinal injury. Problem is I become combative during most of these procedures and have been lucky that no one has gotten hurt during these occurrences.

Spine pain and epidural injection
Then I went to see a neurosurgeon who suggested I should do an
epidural
injection with steroid. I have heard that this procedure has its own side effects on the spine. Please, is there any one here who has done this
epidural
injection and tell me what to expect? Thank you.

Epidural injection for back pain while on ibrutinib.
Wondering if anyone has had
epidural
injection for back pain while on ibrutinib. Wondering how long the ibrutinib was held, and any other insights would be appreciated. Thank You

Right to request induction for labour? Midwife says it’s my choice and right. Sensitive content -Don’t read if you are frightened of birth
I want to have sufficient pain relief as none of the pain relief I’ve had with my girls has touched the sides with them ( the endo scar pain is horrendous in labour) I want an
epidural
( never had time to get one with my girls not enough time !)

Am I being too hasty?
Had my spinal
epidural
Oct 8th. Today woke with burning pain in both legs. Have tapered down to 4.5 mgs pred and was seemingly ok with pmr although my sight has deteriorated badly last few weeks. Considering that
epidural
is causing problem with legs? Am I being too premature re back?

Thank you for being here for me!
The MRI showed increased spinal cord edema from T1-T2 to T 10 level and mild to moderate cord compression by T6 posterior displacement and ventral
epidural
extension.

PMR pain vs DDD pain
He wants me to do
epidural
injection in c4c5c6 as this is where most foraminal narrowing is. Does this sound right? The pain is constant and evenly painful both shoulders and arms.

Alternatives to gabapentin? Long term use of it?
Her pain doctor recommended gabapentin or an

, but we'd like to try more natural approaches. I appreciate any advice this group could offer

Peripheral arterial disease-angioplasty?
Does anyone know if there are things they can do for this like a sedative or
epidural
? The Dr didn't really say but this is what has put my nan off having it. If anyone knows about angioplasties I could really do with some advice-do they have a high failure rate?
