ONCT-534 Earns FDA Fast Track Designation in R/R Metastatic CRPC
“The receipt of fast track designation for ONCT-534 supports our belief that patients with [metastatic] CRPC who relapse after treatment with androgen receptor pathway inhibitors [ARPIs] such as
enzalutamide
[Xtandi] or abiraterone [Zytiga], represent an important unmet medical need,” James Breitmeyer

PSA suppression
Incidentally, that phrase - rapid androgen cycling - brings to mind the work of Howard Scher [3] (2006) When Abiraterone and
Enzalutamide
were approved, I was briefly tempted. But however efficient they were at controlling PSA, the effects were transient for most men.

Just been told I have two years to live.
Since then, been on
Enzalutamide
(sourced from India). No side effects except exhaustion. Too early to tell if working. Yesterday, oncologist said I have two years to live. PSA 135. Totally shocked. Anyone had similar experience? Is it worth getting a second opinion? Any suggestions?

Enzalutamide (Xtandi): Start at half standard dose to extend efficacy time span?
Would this possibly extend the overall efficacy life span of
enzalutamide
? I am fit, very active and pain and side effect free apart from peripheral neuropathy in my feet caused by the chemo. I look forward to your views, experience with Xtandi and advice. Thank you. KGU

Radium223 has not been a success, is Enzalutamide a good next option?
Now doctors are suggesting that possible option is to switch onto Xtandi/
Enzalutamide
. Anyone in the same or similar situation? Any advice would be welcomed .... Thanks

? For fellow BATmen on daro and androgen stimulation. Great Article
Importantly, darolutamide is structurally different from other second-generation AR antagonists, such as
enzalutamide
and apalutamide.

Abiraterone - alternatives
In the UK once you’ve been on Abi for 3 months you can’t get
Enzalutamide
- should we therefore be asking for Enza before the 3 months are up ? Note- when we asked the onco this question he said if the Abi fails the Enza will fail.

Update on failing Enzalutamide
Do people concur with my onco, that once
Enzalutamide
has failed, it's really not worth pursuing the other 'mides'? 2. Can anyone recommend men on here who have travelled to Australia for Lu-177 treatment, so that I can pick their brains? 3.

I came acoss this article which seems to suggest that simvastatin in particular can enhance the effects of
enzalutamide
. Should I cheerfully now capitulate, show my GP the article, and ask to go on simvastatin? Thoughts/observations, chaps?
