Retrospective Study of Treatment Sequencing
In this retrospective analysis of outcomes from published studies, the authors evaluated individual survival outcomes of 1099 men with MCRPC after docetaxel chemotherapy and either cabazitaxel or a new hormone agent (
enzalutamide
or abiraterone).

Survival Outcomes for Sequential Use of New Agents in Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer
TAKE-HOME MESSAGE •Although there are many new treatments for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (MCRPC), including cabazitaxel,
enzalutamide
, and abiraterone, the optimal sequence is poorly understood.

Zytiga no longer working, moving on to Enzalutamide.
My Dad will now be starting
Enzalutamide
. Can anyone offer their experience on this drug? Has anyone tried it after Zytiga and was it effective/non-effective? Thank you all so much for any replies.

Nuclear Receptor ERRα Contributes to Castration-Resistant Growth of Prostate Cancer via Its Regulation of Intratumoral Androgen Biosynthesis
Furthermore, AKR1C3 mediates chemotherapeutic resistance to the standard of care,
enzalutamide
, a structural analogue of apalutamide. Resistance develops in almost all CRPC patients within three months of beginning treatment.

Cancer Hacking
•Many of us are suffering needlessly from gynecomastia, extreme muscle loss, and
enzalutamide
brain fog. I want to spread the word about hacks for these and other ADT side effects. •I want to offer a methodology for, and show how to mitigate additional issues with, cancer hacking.

PSMA in circulating tumor cells is a new poor prognostic marker for castration-resistant PCa - Plos One - Published: January 27, 2020
However, approximately 30% of CRPC patients show primary resistance to novel androgen receptor (AR)-targeted agents such as
enzalutamide
and abiraterone [3, 4].

Is Nubeqa (daralutamide) considered ADT?
Had RP 2007, EBRT 2009, was in a clinical trial at NIH using Xtandi (
enzalutamide
) and getting Prostvac with success for almost 4 years. When PSA went to 13 and the NIH Xtandi trial ended, my local MO started me on Nubeqa last November.

Flutamide, bicalutamide, nilutamide, apalutamide or enzalutamide?
According to the cancer.gov fact sheet for Hormone Therapy for Prostate Cancer, there are 5 types of CAB, Complete Androgen Blockade. I've been on bical. for about 20 months. However, against advice, I have not had radiation nor surgery. The combo I'm using is finasteride, tamsulosin and bicalutamide

Update after Chemo
MO was going to recommend Aberaterone w/ Presdisone but I saw a specialist at Georgetown Hospital who (based on a clinical trial 'Arches') is recommending
Enzalutamide
. Also eliminating Zometa, Bicalumide, Predisone. Anyone familiar with the
Enzalutamide
and the Arches trial?
