ROS 1 found in Foundation One liquid biopsy but not their solid biopsy. Anyone had findings in liquid but not solid? Exploring next steps.
As Barry has already failed docetaxel and
enzalutamide
and it looks like Cabazitaxel mightn't be working either, this is important as we're looking at other options. We've gotten varying opinions, I've looked at research, we have a medical consult scheduled Monday.

Adding Advanced AR drugs to ADT in non-Metastatic CRPCa Extends Overall Survival
, or cost and better insurance coverage (perhaps
enzalutamide
?). I am unclear on just how non-metastatic CRPCa actually kills? Is it truly non-metastatic or rather micro metastatic (not yet showing up on conventional scans)? So how different is it?

Lynparza (olaparib )approved for mCRPC
Within each cohort, patients were randomized 2:1 to olaparib or physician's choice of abiraterone plus prednisone or
enzalutamide
. In cohort A, 162 patients received olaparib and 83 got abiraterone plus prednisone or

PCa patients can benefit from 5-alpha-reductase Inhibitors.
Hence the continued interest in the AR axis, & the development of Abiraterone [Zytiga] &
Enzalutamide
[Xtandi]. The ultimate targets of AR axis-based therapy are DHT access to the AR, & AR translocation to the nucleus of the cell. It is therefore plausible that a 5ARI might have a useful role.

Bipolar Androgen Therapy in Prostate Cancer.
More recent trials showed a further increase in overall survival when
enzalutamide
or abiraterone are associated with androgen deprivation therapy in hormone-sensitive disease.

NHS releases enzalutamide - questions
For metastatic hormone sensitive disease NHS has decided to fund
Enzalutamide
(xtandi) for those who cant have chemo due to virus. Husband about to start tx next week if bloods come up ok. My question is about drug interactions. Anyone had issues with xtandi and statins, ramipril, lanzoprazole?

Why hasn't MO recommended Provenge? Ideas? He has extensive bone mets (is that it?)Almost no pain. Also 2 questions - clinical trial and PET
DESCRIPTION OF BARRY'S PC --- After docetaxel and
enzalutamide
failures, several consults plus our MO said Cabazitaxel is best option for husband Barry, who "failed" docetaxel and Xtandi. Therefore, he started Cabazitaxel last Tuesday plus Neulasta.

Cabazitaxel: 25 vs 20 dose? Neulasta vs. No Neulasta? Any experiences?
Oh, he has mcrpc, extensive bone mets, resistant to Docetaxel and
Enzalutamide
, diagnosed August, still exercising... still smiles. Thanks again!

Enzalutamide-Resistant PCa & 5-LOX Inhibition.
FDA-approved
enzalutamide
is commonly prescribed for CRPC which works by blocking androgen receptor function. However, even after initial good response,
enzalutamide
-resistant prostate cancer (ERPC) develops which eventually leads to widespread metastasis.

Looking for specific MO doctor recommendations, considering changing MO, consult first.
Husband has CRPC, he "failed" docetaxel and
enzalutamide
, PSA up, scans show extensive progression in bones, not in organs; little pain right now, still active. Very motivated like the rest of you....Thanks!!!!

Boswellia? Other things for CRPC?
Husband 's PC is currently resistant to docetaxel and
enzalutamide
. Bone mets increasing. Looking at options, in addition to his "standard" treatments. Scan taken two days ago, getting several consults. Thanks!!!!

A Phase III trial comparing Atezolizumab with Enzalutamide vs Enzalutamide alone in patients with metastatic CRPC
[1] Bottom line: no add-on value or synergy for Atezolizumab (a checkpoint inhibitor) with
Enzalutamide
. "Patients treated with atezolizumab (Tecentriq) and
enzalutamide
(Xtandi) had a median OS of 15.2 months as compared with 16.6 months for single-agent

After chemo, PSA risen from 0.149 (Dec), 0.192, 0.396, 0.833 today. Should I be concerned?
The next possible course of action could be using
Enzalutamide
. Looking forward to any inputs or advice from anyone. God bless

What Now? How is This Even Happening?
The trial drug (
Enzalutamide
) is not on the "approved" list of drugs with my work insurance company, at all. So even if we found a way to cover the premiums, I'm not sure he could continue his current course of treatment. Any of you insurance-knowledgeable folks out there have any ideas?

SPARTAN - Overall Survival.
"The SPARTAN results, corroborated by other data from PROSPER (
enzalutamide
) and ARAMIS (darolutamide), show the benefit of adding an androgen signalling inhibitor to ADT for patients with nmCRPC and represent a major advance in treatment [12], [27], [28].

Best Meds for MO CRPC?
I'm thinking of the new receptor-inhibitors: apalutamide, darolutamide,
enzalutamide
. Tests show they extend metastasis-free survival by 36-40 months. But my doc says no; says they'd have only a 10% chance of working! He didn't specify a drug; seemed to lean toward chemo.

PSA dropped again💙
Hey gang, On Abiraterone(and Lupron) since Jan 2020 and PSA got to 12.9, then 6.6 and now at 4.2 with T at 3 😊 So, a continued decline, some great news for me during this #Coronatine I know it'll eventually rise, just a matter of when 😔 Then on to Cabazitaxel, rechallenge with Taxotere or
enzalutamide
