Pls help with blood tests
Endoscopy
was done as I start having digestive problems most of the times. I am now in gluten and lactose diet and have an appointment abroad as the tests done in UK came back in range for thyroid so therefore nothing they can do.

non cardiac chest pain?
I have had
endoscopy
that revealed oesophagetis but not significant. I have tried omeprazole, estoprozal and now lanzoprisol. Anyone else have any similar issues with what is presumed non cardiac pain.

Colonoscopy and endoscopy.
Today I had both my colonoscopy and
endoscopy
, and I must say that having them was a lot less harrowing than I thought it would be. My appointment I was 8.30 am and I was home by 11 o’clock.

Turning things around
Seeing the consultant yesterday I was told that my bloods were now normal, I have very very minor varices - he is not concerned, (no
endoscopy
for another 2 years) and my Fibroscan was grade2.

Consultant Appointment
Hi my husband was diagnosed with decompensated cirrhosis at the end of 2021. His last consultant appointment was the beginning of 2022. He finally has a consultant appointment this week. I'm compiling a list of questions to ask at his appointment as I feel as though we are in the dark with regards

Help please to understand what's happening
My story starts 2020 December, I got a pain 3 inches from the top of my sternum, well to the right. It was more chest than anything. Come march the pain had gone and they did an xray and it was clear. Over the next year I would have heartburn and indigestion and would come and go. Tame some tablets

UK guidelines for management of thyroid nodules?
The consultant also did a naso-
endoscopy
and noted phonatory gap/vocal cord paralysis but said it's unconnected and not an issue. As the nodules look benign I was discharged from ENT with no follow up or further action. The swelling on my thyroid causes me constant discomfort.

Thrombocytosis…..ET? UPDATE
Other tests I’ve had done are an
Endoscopy
and a Colonoscopy, both of which have come back clear. I asked for Iron studies to be done as my Specialist forgot to do them (?!!), I had low Ferritin but not Anemia.

Hospitalised twice for 6 days ultra sound,

Asthma and Beta Blockers
I am currently compensated as my last
endoscopy
but have been decompensated in the past (varises). I have read that the selective beta blockers may be useful but inferior to non selective. I would be very grateful if any body could share there experience or point me in the right direction.
